Countdown Days 13 & 14

Countdown Days 13 and 14: Because I Have Been Given Much. 

For the past few days, the LDS Hymn "Because I Have Been Given Much" has been stuck in my head. I love this hymn, and it's base premise: because I have been given much, I too must give. 

This affects me in many ways. As a resident of Johnson County, I've certainly been given much. As a member of a full, happy family, I have been given much. As a healthy human, with a strong body, I have been given much. As a member of the church, I have been given even more. As a beneficiary of the atonement, I have been given the most anybody can receive. 

In each of these ways, I'm obligated to give some of what I have to others. I'm incredibly blessed in diverse ways, so it's only fair that I give to others. It's the right thing to do. It'd what makes me happy.
