Countdown Day 39: The Liahona

Countdown Day 39: The Liahona
In Alma 37, we learn a lot about the Liahona. It was basically a compass that relied on the faith of it's wielders. If Lehi's family was "slothful" and disobedient, the Liahona wouldn't point the way, rather it's spindles would list about. If they were righteous and faithful, then it would guide them to where they needed to go.
The Liahona can be likened unto the words of Christ. When we're obedient and faithful, we're guided to places we're meant to be, and will be happier in. If we ignore the directions and are lazy and unfaithful, then we won't be able to discern the proper direction, and will be lost, until we repent and get ourselves back on track.
