Countdown Day 21: Observe and Serve
How can you help a person if you don't know they need aid?
You can't.
This is one of the most basic reasons we need to practice being observant. Other benefits include perceiving ways to improve, learning more about others, and being more mentally agile.
Christ was extremely observant, and used those observations to teach and serve effectively. We see it in the way he gently comfort a woman stricken with a disease of blood, or the way he converses with a Pharisee.
Even more importantly, he took the time to serve them as individuals, showing how much he loved them.
I testify that Christ loves you as an individual, and will always love you, no matter what you do or become.
