Countdown Day 37: Absolute Truth
An absolute truth is something that never changes. It is absolute.
The absolute truth I've been thinking about the most is that you cannot save somebody else.
Another absolute truth is agency. We all have the power of choice, and that doesn't change.
Since we all have the power to choose, another person cannot make our choices for us, even when we want them to. We can't be saved by another... Only through the atonement. Even then, we have to choose to access the atonement.
We can support each other, but we cannot be another.
We can shoulder each other's burdens, but we can't take them away.
Life is about choices. We can't make them for others.
