Countdown Day 18: Christ is Accessible
I've been listening to "The Healer's Art," and it brought up a wonderful point about the Savior's ministry. He didn't spend it in contemplative solitude, but he made himself accessible to all. We read of him at wedding feasts, funerals, market places, and more. Any place the people were wont to gather, Christ could appear.
Christ is not an isolated God. Though he no longer walks the earth as he did in mortality, he is still just as accessible as he always has been, through prayer.
He desperately wants us to reach out to him. He wants to help us, because he's our older brother, and he loves us dearly and unconditionally. For the healing power he has, we just need to reach out and believe. He wants to heal our infirmities and shoulder our burdens.
