Countdown Day 38: Bonds
In life, we accumulate various bonds. Most of them are bonds of friendship and love... And a few consist of hate.
What will you do for your bonds? Will you allow them to be severed when the going gets tough? Will you sever them yourself, to make things easier? Will you weaken your bonds of love, so that your bonds of hatred take precedence and consume you?
Or will you strengthen your bonds of love? Will you form them with as many people as possible? Will you sacrifice anything for those bonds?
Is that possible?
Jesus Christ literally gave everything for his bonds. He had bonds with every single one of us, and they were all bonds of love, so powerful we can't even comprehend them.
If we want to be like Christ, we ought to foster bonds of love with all we meet, and make sacrifices for those we love.
I believe that one day, all of humanity will link arms and form one great bond of love. We have it in us!
