Hunter and Prey
Act 1, Scene 1 (Morning, Day after prison break)
Open with Sparrow and a gang of five walking down a road, from the Ameyura meeting place. They are wearing cloaks. You can tell one of the people is Jyakuge.
Sparrow: We're pretty lucky everyone hear wears cloaks.
Jyakuge: In the industrial sector, there's reportedly heavy pollution, so people try to protect themselves. When we get to the inner ring, we'll need real disguises.
Prison Guard: *walks by* Prison break! Prison break!
Ameyura: *hide in nearby ally*
Prison Guard: *leaves*
Ameyura: *resume walking down road*
Jyakuge: What's the plan, Sparrow?
Sparrow: *flashback (brief) to Citadel episode where Atsura asks same question* Don't worry, I have one. We just need to get to the palace.
Jyakuge: *nods*
Scene 2 (the same)
Ameyura are on the edge of the industrial ring. There are homeless people everywhere, and lots of poor children.
Sparrow: (whisper) What is this?!
Jyakuge: This is how it is in the capital. They have a large population, and they don't have the space for everyone. Some people are very unfortunate.
Hobos: Help us, please...
Sparrow: I'm sorry! We can't!
Hobos: *start grabbing them* Please...!
Sparrow: Hey! Stop! *hits*
Guard: Hey! What's going on over there?!
Sparrow: Crap *Ameyura run, and hid in an ally... again*
Ameyura 1: We need a new hiding place.
Ameyura 2: Yeah, once they figure out we just run into allies we're sunk.
Sparrow: Sh! *turns around, sees little poor kid* Oh...
Poor Kid: *stares*
Guard (in distance): There's a lucrative award for any who bring me a prisoner's whereabouts...
Kid: *opens mouth*
Sparrow: *covers kids mouth*
Kid: *struggles to free self*
Sparrow: *looks conflicted*
Scene 3 (the same)
Ameyura walk out on other side of ally. It starts raining, having been cloudy all morning. As Sparrow exits the ally, you can see a few curious bloodstains on the hem of his cloak. As a little stream of rain exits the ally, it's stained red...
Sparrow: So we're close to the inner ring now, right?
Jyakuge: Uh huh.
A group of rich, young party animals: *pass by, a little tipsy*
Ameyura: *evil grin*
Party Animals: ?
Act 2, Scene 1 (the same)
Sparrow and co. exit a building, in the same clothes as the Party Animals.
Sparrow: I'll be right back. I forgot something.
Ameyura: *whistle*
Building (inside): *bump, crash*
Ameyura: ?
Sparrow: *returns* Sorry, I forgot to lock the doors.
Ameyura 3: What was that noise?
Sparrow: A couple of those party animals tried to escape. *hides bloody knife*
Ameyura: Oh, ok. Good job! *leaves*
The Ameyura are walking past the palace, which is obviously guarded... you know, guards everywhere, iron fences, etc.
Scene 2 (Nighttime, same day)
Ameyura are dressed in combat clothing, that is black, loose clothing. They dig a hole under the fence, and climb under. They manage to break into the palace. But first, they dodge multiple sentries and have to slip past guards. They do cool stuff, like break lamps to create darkness, throw rocks to make noise, etc.
They sneak through the palace, knocking out any random passerby. Except for one, who they grab and drag into a closet.
Jyakuge: *lights candle*
Palace Resident: Whaddya want?! Leave me alone! Help-
Sparrow: *slaps* Shut up! Scumbag. I want one thing from you; where do the nobles live? And if you yell out again, I will slit your throat and be glad doing it.
Other Ameyura: *stare at each other, creeped out*
Palace Resident: Please don't hurt me! They're down this corridor, take a left, down the fourth door, then all along that corridor!
Sparrow: Thanks. *stabs*
Palace Resident: Urk. *dies*
Ameyura: What the heck!
Sparrow: Sh! It had to be done, he would have told someone. He was too dangerous to be kept alive.
Ameyura: …
Sparrow: Come on, he gave us the information we needed.
Scene 3 (the same)
Ameyura enter nobles' accommodations. They search the different rooms, and finally find Ekura and Zen.
Sparrow: *creeps over to Ekura's bed, and lifts part of her blanket off of her face, using his sword*
Ekura: *wakes up, and is surprised. She gasps, which wakes up Zen*
Zen: What?!
Sparrow: Sh... I'm startled by loud noises... *moves sword to Ekura's throat* You wouldn't want me to be startled and accidentally hurt someone...
