Stolen Lives
Premised off of Citadel, The Bandits, and Led Away. Moresuke is burning.
Act 1, Scene 1
Sparrow (off screen): Who knew it would come to this. Who could have imagined that this would happen... I suppose Irakura could. And Itsu probably did too... *flashback*
Scenes of fighting in the village, and the Prince's military moving in. Atsura, Atana, Imeda, and Ekura are showed being captured.
Sparrow: *end flashback* All right. *turns around*
There is a group of approximately one hundred people. They are all ages, both genders. Villagers from Moresuke and Ameyura.
Sparrow: The Prince has taken our families and friends. He has burned down our homes. We can't let him get away with this. We must recapture everyone he has taken. I need twenty strong people to come with me.
Various people volunteer
Sparrow: Very good. Come with me. You! *points into crowd* Mayori, I need you to lead them to Mount Ariat.
Mayori: Yes, Sparrow.
The People leave. Sparrow briefs his team.
Sparrow: Ok, people. We are going to infiltrate the capital city.
People: What?! Why?!
Sparrow: Because, that's where everyone will be! We need to get them! All of them! I refuse to leave them behind! They have maybe twenty people prisoners. That's a quarter of the population, excluding us. Besides, who would leave behind their brother? Or sister? Or father? Or mother? We have to go there. To Nezogu. We can do it... because we have to.
Lengthy travel/training montage. The Ameyura/Moresuke arrive at the capital, marked by a sign. The Capital is made up of small farms, etc, in a ring, which quickly becomes more densely packed, into an industrial area, culminating in the core city, with the palace at the center.
Scene 2
Sparrow: Nezogu is on the edge of the industrial and city rings. To enter the industrial ring, we'll have to pass through one of the checkpoints. The industrial ring is surrounded by a huge wall, with several checkpoints in it.
Atsura: How are you planning on getting through the checkpoints? You're a wanted criminal!
Sparrow: I'll improvise. I'll start with a disguise.
Atsura: And the rest of us?
Sparrow: We'll split up. We'll all meet up in the steel tool factory. I have a map; show them where it is. *hands Atsura map*
Sparrow: *watches Atsura show people the map* It's working so far... let's see what you've got, Irakura...
Change scene. Montage of Ameyura and Moresuke getting into the city, then moving towards the factory. Cut to Sparrow going to his checkpoint.
Guard: Name. Purpose.
Sparrow (in disguise): Rei Masen. Visiting my daughter.
Guard: Wait a second...
Sparrow: *tenses*
Guard: Are you Mina Masen's father?
Sparrow: No actually, Keiga Masen's.
Guard: Oh well. Welcome to the capital!
Scene 3
Shift scene to steel tool factory. (after dark) Ameyura and Moresuke are gathered in an ally.
Sparrow: We're doing well so far. We're going to break into these factories here, and arm ourselves. After that, Atsura and I will both lead two seperate groups on different objectives.
Skip, to after everyone is armed. Atsura and Sparrow split up.
Tag line- Two blocks away from Nezogu.
Sparrow: Here's the plan... *picks up man, holds him over head and shakes him* Riot! Rebellion! Yeah!!!
Ameyura: Oh! Riot!!! Rebellion!!! Lashing out against authority!
Sparrow: Fight the power! Fight the Prince!
Police: *arrests all of them*
Act 2, Scene 1
The Ameyura and Moresuke are brought to Nezogu... all acording to plan. While in prison, Sparrow finds a Moresukean villager, and speaks with him.
Sparrow: You! You're from Moresuke!
Moresukean: Yes I am... my name is Gura.
Sparrow: Gura, do you know anyone here that knows anything about what happened?
Gura (Moresukean): Yes I do. One of your cohorts, Itsu.
Sparrow: Itsu?! But he was captured when the bandits caught us! I thought they killed him...
Gura: Nay, they brought him to rot here.
Sparrow: I'm going to speak to him...
Scene 2
Sparrow (to guy in corner): Are you Itsu?
Guy in corner: Who's asking?
Sparrow: Sparrow is.
Guy in corner: Oh! In that case, it is Itsu.
Sparrow: Itsu, it's so good to see you. I thought you were dead!
Itsu (guy in corner): I wish I was.
Sparrow: Is it that bad here?!
Itsu: Sparrow, they made me tell them everything!
Sparrow: ?! You... you, you betrayed us?!
Itsu: She did first.
Sparrow: She?
Itsu: Ekura. She betrayed all of us, willingly. I'm so sorry, the torture broke me... I... I... *sobs*
Sparrow: It's ok... where is Ekura now?
Itsu (bitterly): Who knows... living a life of privelage with her beloved Zen...
Sparrow: Zen? Arugunta? The Nobleman?!
Itsu: Yeah, she's been seeing him for a while now I guess.
Sparrow: She betrayed us... *clenches fist* She'll be made to pay...
Scene 3
Sparrow: *signals out window to Atsura, on a roof nearby*
Itsu: What are you doing?
Sparrow: I have people on the outside. We're going to jail break.
Itsu: I know where everyone they captured is.
Sparrow: Really?
Itsu: Uh huh, they organize the prisoners. Most of us are slated for execution for inciting rebellion.
Sparrow: Then we need to move fast. Itsu, get every one together in that big yard I saw.
Itsu: It will be done. *leaves*
Sparrow (thinking): Atsura should have the supplies... when he blows through the wall, my strike force will take care of the guards in the yard, (that rhymed! Haha) then we'll make a break for it. We can hide in the sewers... the city is rather famous for them... Then, well, we'll see how things go from there.
Itsu: *returns* I got everyone from Moresuke or who was in the Ameyura.
Sparrow: Do you know the inmates here?
Itsu: I've only been here a little while, but I know a majority of them...
Sparrow: I want you to also bring anyone who could be part of the Ameyura.
Itsu: Ok... *leaves again*
Act 3, Scene 1
In the courtyard.
Sparrow: *nods to several Ameyura watching him. They walk up to different guards and knock them out, then Sparrow signals to Atsura*
Prison bell starts ringing, signaling trouble...
Sparrow: Blast! I forgot about the watch tower. Hurry, Atsura!
BOOM. Wall is down. People flock out, then hide in sewers. They gather together.
Scene 2
Sparrow: Well done, well done! Are we all here? Yes? Good. Ok, here's how it's going to go down. Many of you will be headed to a safe place, in Mount Ariat. A few of you will remain with me. Atsura, you are going to lead them back to Ariat. I warn you, whoever stays with me, it's a suicide mission. We are going to break into the Prince's palace, capture a noble's fiance, and, if we're lucky, assasinate the Prince.
Ameyura: YEAH!!!
Sparrow: I really need a new way to screen voluunteers.
