The Gates of Avalon
Act 1, Scene 1 (just inside of Avalon)
Jyakuge: Who are you?
Avalon Person: Please, enter. You're questions will all be answered, in due time.
Jyakuge: Uh, ok I guess.
The Ameyura enter. They witness a virtual paradise, with gardens, and everyone is healthy, and friendly.
Mesu: How do you stay hidden, uh-
Ava. Person: Otamu.
Mesu: -Otamu?
Otamu (Avalon Person): We found this remarkable canyon, and from the outside, we found out that the sun reflects in such a way that it makes it appear as a cliff. We dug a trench outside to reinforce the notion, and the disguise has worked quite well. How did you get here?
Jyakuge: Forgive us. Our friend, Eji, gave us the directions.
Otamu: May I see them?
Jyakuge: Of course! *gives Otamu the instructions*
Otamu: *tears it up*
Others: *stare*
Otamu: I'm sorry, we can't risk this falling into the wrong hands. The Prince would slaughter dozens to get a paper like that. Eji is a saint. He does more for the people than you know.
Jyakuge: Avalon looks like paradise...
Otamu: That's because it is.
Scene 2 (In the capital, afternoon)
The Prince and an extremely gorgeous woman are dressed up in very nice clothes. They are standing in what looks like a church... THEY'RE GETTING MARRIED!!!
Priest Looking Fellow: Do you, Irakura, take Meifune, as your wife, and accept the responsibilities, already mentioned, involved in being unified as a family?
Irakura: I do.
PLF: Meifune?
Meifune: I do!
Scene 3 (Avalon)
Otamu: I can't help but wonder, is there a specific reason- no, I'll wait.
Jyakuge: Wait for what?
Otamu: Until you meet with the Elders of Avalon.
Ameyura 3: Who?
Jyakuge: Hush, Dagu.
Otamu: He's right to ask.
Dagu (Ameyura 3): So, who are these Elders?
Otamu: The Elders oversee everything about Avalon. They make sure that Avalon remains a paradise. They must question all outsiders who enter, to ensure our protection. We are going to them right now.
Scene 4 (The Same)
The Ameyura are in a room, where there are people, the Elders, seated in a circle in a council.
Elders: We are the Elders. Who are you?
Jyakuge: We are the Ameyura.
Elders: Is there one among you who leads? Is that you?
Jyakuge: Only temporarily. Our true leader, Sparrow, is currently... eh... bound and gagged.
Elders: *chuckle* Why is that?
Jyakuge: He is affected by Zasuke. He will die soon, if you don't help him.
Elders: Why should we help him?
Jyakuge: There is no one more worthy of your help. Sparrow's life is dedicated to taking down the Prince.
Elders: Let us confer. *they whisper unsettlingly amongst themselves* Ok!
Jyakuge: Ok?
Elders: Ok! We'll help.
Jyakuge: Great!
Scene 5 (O the way to Avalon)
The Prince's army is marching to Avalon.
Scene 6 (Avalon)
Omatu: So... we checked out your friend...
Dagu: And?
Omatu: He definitely had Zasuke.
Ameyura 5: Had? HAD? IS HE DEAD?! *screams*
Jyakuge: *slaps* Get a hold of yourself! Your mother would be ashamed, Yua.
Yua (Ameyura 5): I'm sorry.
Omatu: He isn't dead. He's fine now. Right now he's recovering.
