The Prince, Volume 1 (Pre-ReWrite)

7/24/12/EDIT: This is Volume 1, before the ReWrite. I couldn't bring myself to totally delete it, so it's all compiled here. Ctrl + F if you're looking for something specific. \
1/13/13/EDIT: You can find lots of pieces of this in the rewrite, and the general story is still mostly the same. It's sometimes interesting (when not downright emberassing) to look at this, and then to look at what my story has evolved into.

Pilot-Sparrow's First Rival!!

Act 1, Scene 1 (Flashback w/Voiceover
Cloaked man in a tavern: This is the story of the Kingdom of Norea... more sspecifically, it's Prince... Irakura...
*flashback begins*
In the country of Norea, there ruled a wise king. As with all wise kings, his people loved him. And, as with many wise kings, his son was touched by darkness. The king's son, Irakura, believed his father was too soft, and that the people, indeed, the entire kingdom, needed a stern hand. Irakura's father was not too old a man. But everyday Irakura hoped his father would fall ill and never rise again. After all, he had the strains of running a war in a foreign country, where the kingdom's colonies had been assaulted.
Yet his father remained strong. Irakura decided to take matters into his own hands. He slipped a rare poison, nemerasuke, into his father's cup. The poison crippled his father, making him bedridden and unable to communicate. Irakura convinced his father's court that it would be best if he, the Prince, took over while his father rested. The noblemen agreed with him, and so it came to be that the Prince reigned instead of the King.
The Prince was a harsh ruler, but a cunning and sly one. He understood the masses, and maneuvered so that his people were never too angry with his actions. He believed that the ends would justify all means, and that in order to return order and peace to the kingdom, any measures taken would be accepted by the people, if they knew what was best.
Despite the Prince's deceit, there were some who lived outside the palace who knew the true extent of his evil acts. They were patriots, and felt that the Prince had to be stopped, for the good of all. So the Ameyura Resistance was born. They were led by a courageous man named Sparrow
who is currently hiding in the village of Moresuke, hiding from the Prince's samurai.

Scene 2 (Inside a house)
Ameyura are sitting around a table, talking.
Old Man: *answers knock at door*
Knocker: I have news for Sparrow.
Sparrow: What is it Jyakuge?
Jyakuge (knocker): The Prince has moved the villages of Aka and Meda into Deri, and has demanded that they begin production of weapons of war.
Sparrow: That's insane! Aka and Meda are agricultural villages! They have no training in blacksmithing or mining. They live in a great location for farming, too... What's Irakura thinking?!
(In doorway) Woman: He must have a reason, he's many things, but the Prince isn't stupid.
Old Man: Tell us Jyakuge, what are the reasons Irakura has given for this decision?
Jyakuge: Yes, Atana Sensei. The Prince s claiming that shifting people's work focus allows them to grow as people.
Atana Sensei (old man): Ha! What a silly excuse. Even a dunderhead would know that the Prince just needs more weapons for his army. It's a sign that the war with Dracoa is going poorly.
Sparrow: What does that mean for us, Atana Sensei?

Atana Sensei: Right now, very little. Hopefully it will put a little strain on Irakura's mind. Later on though, this could change the course of history. If he wins the war, Irakura could rally a lot of people to him. After all, he'd be a war hero, and become the genius who led our country through war. But if he loses, then our country could be destroyed, or otherwise greatly damaged. If he capitulates everyone will lose faith in him, and the country will be ripe for revolution-
Sparrow: If it isn't already dead.
Atana Sensei: Correct.
Man: We know what he's done, and we know why. Now what are we going to do about it?
Sparrow: Good question, Atsura.
Atana Sensei: We cannot allow these villagers to be forced into these conditions.
Sparrow: But we don't have enough men to directly challenge the Prince.
Atana Sensei: Then we'll have to think of another way.
Atsura (man): What if we hide the villagers?
Sparrow: That's ridiculous! We can't hide an entire village! We can barely hide ourselves.
Jyakuge: Excuse me, but I know where we can hide them.
All: Huh?!
Jyakuge: When I was a little child, I used to play in the caverns of Mount Ariat. They are extremely spacious, with enough space for several hundred people. The caverns are lit by a rare crystal that grows in abundance. It is worthless, but it provides dim light, and, if in dire straits, can be eaten. There are enough crystals to provide light enough for plants to grow, and the soil in there is good, it doesn't even seem to be a true mountain.
Sparrow: If we can get the villagers to move, and take their farming supplies with them, they could grow an entire village hidden from the Prince!
Atana Sensei: They would owe us as well. In the future we may want a hidden village, for ourselves or other refugees.
Sparrow: You're a genius Jyakuge. Now, when are the villagers actually being moved. How many samurai will escort them? Do you have details?.... (Voices fade as plans are made and scene changes)

Act 2, Scene 1
A caravan is winding it's way through a lush landscape. There are razed areas, and forestry has been burned away in several places. There are several mining complexes. The people in the caravan look distraught, and tired. There are samurai surrounding the entire caravan. They are on horses. They are very fierce looking, with blue and red armor. Scene shifts towards an outcropping, over which there are several heads visible.
Sparrow: Wow. That's a lot of samurai.
Jyakuge: What's the plan, fearless leader?
Atsura: Patience. Sparrow has rarely failed us before.
Sparrow (Sarcastically): Thank you so much Atsura. Maybe if we... no... or we could... no... let me think!
The group of Ameyura watch the caravan move.

Sparrow: There's a narrow pass ahead. We can either get rid of the tail end, and have them slip through there, or we can cut off the head of the column, and protect them as they flee, or we can pick samurai randomly off, and hope to incite them to rebellion.
All: …
Sparrow: Fine. Looks like we're going to... *tosses coin* cut off the head and protect them as they flee. Jyakuge, you're going to guide them to your magical mountain.

Scene 3
They all disperse as the caravan nears a narrow pass, with huge, almost solid swaths of forest on either side of them. Multiple shots are taken of samurai, guarding the caravan, march past, then are pulled off the side of the road noiselessly. Before too long, all that is left in the head of the column is the commander of the expedition. The commander is dressed like the samurai, except he wears a scary mask, and his armor has more special stuff, like extra decorations. He carries, instead of the customary swords and other samurai weapons, a type of long axehead, tied by a chain to a brutish mace. Very scary, and very mobile.
Samurai Commander: *turns around* Where have my men gone?! (Raging) Where are my samurai?! Will no one answer me?! *whips weapon chain back, preparing to strike on of the helpless villagers* Answer me! I am Sanyuta, of the mighty Kachyu clan! I demand you answer me!
Sparrow: (Behind Commander) They will not answer you, Sanyuta, because they do not know what has happened. I do.
Sanyuta (commander): *Turns Around* So you are the man who has stolen away my men! I will have vengeance for each of them!
Sparrow: Not all of them, just the ones in the front. The others are a little... occupied.
Scene shifts to several of the rebels dressed as samurai. Several samurai come up from the back.
Rebel 1: Hey, hey, get back to your post!
Samurai 1: Why? We simply wish to speak with the commander.
Rebel 2: The commander is very busy, uh, punishing... uh... Lee! Yeah, Lee, for leaving his post.
Samurai 1: Oh! Poor guy. Commander's always getting him. I guess I better get back in position. Thanks guys!
Together: No problem!
Shifts back to Sparrow and Sanyuta.
Sanyuta: So, you plan on defeating me through trickery?! Disgraceful!
Sparrow: I do not wish to defeat you, only liberate those unjustly oppressed. I know the clan name of Kachyu; they are an honorable clan! How is it that you are so willingly doing the will of the wicked Prince?
Sanyuta: He is a visionary. He moved my clan from it's ancient home at the foot of the Kenji Slopes, and placed us near the city of the Dattegoru. At first, I felt like you do now, wrongly oppressed. But I was wrong! Within several weeks, our clan, weak and dying before, was thriving. My family especially. The move had infused with a renewed vigor, and with new neighbors, we received fresh blood as well. I was so grateful to the Prince that I offered my services as a samurai. He placed me in charge of this place. I know that

my temper is hot, but it is only at the foolishness of men. They cannot see the wisdom of the Prince!
Sparrow: I am sorry to see an honorable samurai like you so easily deceived. No doubt your clan was moved to save it from extinction, not to, perhaps, compete with the Dattegoru, or even strengthen them? And I am certain that your clan was nowhere near rebelling, and that the move quelled those thoughts. No, the Prince thinks only for himself! And if you will not stand aside to let these people go, I will have to take you down!
Sanyuta and Sparrow move into battle stances. Sparrow is armed with a bow across his back, with a quiver full of arrows. He has a shoto (short type of sword) at his waist.
Sparrow: Good bye! *shoots two arrows at Sanyuta's mask*
The arrows are right on target, but only crack Sanyuta's mask.
Sanyuta: My turn! *whips chain back, almost hitting several villagers, who move back. He then swings it towards Sparrow, who dives out of the way*
Jyakuge and a few other rebels start moving people out of the way. Scene goes back to the rebels in disguise.

Scene 4
Rebel 1: Sparrow and Sanyuta are fighting!
Rebel 2: Incredible! What do we do now?
Samurai 1: There is a fight up there! And what are you two doing about it?! Hey, I don't think I've seen you around before! What did you say your names were?
Rebel 2: Uh...
Rebel 1: This.*punches samurai in stomach, and after the samurai doubles over, he smashes his hands into his back. He rolls the samurai's body off the road* Come on!

Scene 5
Disguised rebels and samurai begin fighting. Villagers are fleeing, guided by Jyakuge. They are all slipping out of the hands of the samurai, infuriating the hot tempered Sanyuta.
Sanyuta: Take this! *swings weapon at Sparrow, who ducks*
Sparrow: I'd rather not, but you look in need of a few of these- (in background, rebels saying: why are warriors so corny?!)- *shoots three arrows in quick succession at Sanyuta. His armor protects him* 'I need a way to beat him! His weapon is fierce some. It has a long reach, and appears that any blow from it could be a fatal one. His armor is protecting him from my arrows, which are the only weapons I have besides my shoto. Maybe if I can get close enough, I can use my shoto against him. His weapon would definitely be weaker at close range, and I would be able to get through his armor with my shoto.' *Sparrow starts to execute maneuvers bringing him closer to Sanyuta, who is on a horse. Sparrow quickly shoots down the horse as he moves closer*
Sanyuta: You even kill my horse! You will pay for this! *starts swinging quicker and sloppier, making it difficult for Sparrow to move closer*
Sparrow: Gr... *stands up, and grabs chain. Very painful, but necessary. He stakes several of the chain links to the ground with arrows. He dashes towards Sanyuta, as he pulls out the chain*

Sanyuta: *pulls out chain, and is about to swing again when he notices how close Sparrow is. He detaches the chain from the mace, and gets a firm grip on it*
In the next few moments, there would be an intense combat sequence. Sparrow would block Sanyuta's mace several times, and Sanyuta would stop his shoto. In the end, Sparrow stabbed Sanyuta's foot with an arrow, and then stabbed him in the side with his shoto. He leaves as Sanyuta falls to the ground.

Scene 6
An underground cavern, the caverns of Mount Ariat. Sparrow and his men watch as the people of Aka and Meda work to build a new home.Atsura: The rescue was flawless. Not a single villager died, and they are now safe here in Ariat.
Sparrow: ...
Atsura: I see. You are upset about killing that man, Sanyuta.
Sparrow: I'm not even sure he's dead. I left him in the dust.
Atsura: That's not why you're upset though.
Sparrow: I can't believe that a good fellow like Sanyuta could fall for the Prince's lies so easily. And I regret that I had to take him down
Atana Sensei: That's the problem. You don't believe that bad people can attract the faith and loyalty of good ones. Unfortunately, they can, and do. You can't let that get in your way though. You did what you had to today, and I'm proud of you. Sometimes you have to defeat good people in the service of villains. Think of it as freeing them. You're freeing them from the deceit of dark beings. It's better that one good man in the service of an evil one die, than an entire host of innocents die.
Sparrow: There has to be a better way...
Atana Sensei: There wasn't, at least, not this time. Maybe as we work against the Prince, we can find some evidence to reveal his evil clearly, but most people will refute our arguments, unless we have absolute proof.
Sparrow: I suppose today was a victory, for the Ameyura
Atana Sensei: Instead of focusing on the one good man you were forced to injure, think instead of the hundreds whom you have saved and given completely new lives. There will always be negative, focus on the positive, which is also omnipresent.
Sparrow: Hmph. *Grins* It was pretty fun making that guy mad. Come on, let's help them.

Scene 7
A traditional looking building. Inside there are several beds with men inside of them. The scene focuses on the last bed, which has an unfamiliar looking man in it. Unfamiliar, until he drops something he had been holding in his hand, which dangled over the bedside. The item, is a mask. Sanyuta's Mask. The man is bandaged, and is fairly healthy looking. There are several pills and bottles of medicine, as well as a role of bandages, on a small bedside table. There is also a little origami bird. A Sparrow.

A Man, A Sword, and a Bird

Act 1, Scene 1 (War-torn Village, 20 years ago
There are many men fighting other men. They are in the midst of a deserted, burning village. The battle is viewed from a shaky perspective (a child's). As the battle progresses, it climbs in intensity, until the eyes watching the scene close at the screams of men. The eyes open to see a man in armor standing above him. He is wearing the insignia of Norea. It is heavily implied to be the Prince, with people shouting towards him saying 'your highness', and the like. The man glances around him, and pulls the child watching up. The scene shifts to see both of them, in a third person perspective. The man brings him to his tent.
Prince: What is your name?
Child: I-I th-th-think it's Sparrow.
Prince: Sparrow? What a strange name.
Sparrow: It's the only one I've got...
Prince: Listen, Sparrow, I can't take care of you myself. Do you have family? Friends?
Sparrow: All-all d-dead in the war... (starts to breakdown)
Prince: I see... Very well. There is a man I know. He is a close friend of mine. He raised me. His name is Koraga. He lives in Dattegoru. Do you know where that is?
Sparrow: Um... no...
Prince: *sigh* Fine. I will send an escort with you. *Opens tent* Gozen! Get over here!
Gozen: (distantly) Yes, your highness! *arrives* Sir?
Prince: You are to escort this young man to Koraga, in Dattegoru. Do you understand? You will give Koraga this- *pulls out an old shoto from his trunk* Koraga gave this to me... he will recognize it. Now go, take two horses!
Gozen: Yes, your majesty!
Prince: Sparrow, time for you to leave. *smiles* Be safe.

Scene 2 (Traveling to Dattegoru, and arrival)
Travel Montage. Sparrow and Gozen arrive in Dattegoru. Gozen brings Sparrow and the shoto to Koraga. Gozen leaves immediately. Koraga is an old man.
Koraga: So Irakura has sent me a child to raise. Doesn't he understand that I'm an old man?! You! What's your name?
Sparrow: Sparrow, sir.
Koraga: Oh, sir! Hehe, I like that. Maybe I can take care of you.

Scene 3 (Same place, 7 years ago)
Growing up montage. 7 years ago.
Sparrow: (Is a young adult now) Thank you so very much Koraga. It's time for me to leave. I'll always remember you. *turns to walk away*
Koraga: I am very old now. But that does not make me safe.
Sparrow: ?
Koraga: The Prince... Irakura... is growing... dark. You've heard of his actions, underneath the notice of his father. I've told you of secrets from the palace that only the servants know. You know just as well as I do what he's becoming.
Sparrow: What do you want me to do?

Koraga: I've taught you everything I know about Irakura. It's your duty to make sure that he doesn't rule as a monster.
Sparrow: How?! How can I touch him?! He's in the palace! I'll be lucky not to be in the streets!
Koraga: Huh?! I don't know!
Sparrow: *falls over*
Koraga: I know this much. You are unique. You have the skill to stop him.
Sparrow: Eh... whatever.
Koraga: If you're lucky, he'll go back to his father's ways.
Sparrow: I'm sure he will.(Fades out)

Scene 4 (present, Mount Ariat)
The Ameyura are leaving Mount Ariat.
Sparrow: *sees a sign* Hey!
Atsura: What is it, Sparrow?
Sparrow: My... father lives close by, in Dattegoru. I haven't seen him in years... He is very wise, as wise as Atana Sensei.
Atana: (in the distance) Hey!
Atsura: Can he help us?
Sparrow: Yes. He raised Irakura, in the palace.
Atsura: ?!
Sparrow: It's a long story. He gave me the shoto I wear.
Atsura: So, you're going to visit him? It would be unwise not to take an escort with you.
Sparrow: I... suppose. Atsura, you'll come with me.

Scene 5 (Dattegoru)
Atsura and Sparrow arrive in Dattegoru.
People in streets: *Angry glare*
Important looking man: You! You are Sparrow! You are the one who leads the terrorist Ameyura!
Atsura and Sparrow glance at each other.
Sparrow: I don't know what you're talking about.
Important Looking Man: You can't fool us! We all know your face, Sparrow! You're coming with us, to our prison!
Sparrow: *whispers to Atsura* That's it? Prison?
Atsura: *whispers back* They must have something up their sleeve.
Important Looking Man: Take him away!
Three Samurai walk up, with some type of handcuffs. Sparrow and Atsura glance at each other, nod, then take the samurai out with some fancy footwork and their fists.
Sparrow: Run!
Important Looking Man: Get them!
Sparrow and Atsura run. They elude their pursuers.

Act 2, Scene 1 (Night, Koraga's Home)
Atsura: Where is this Koraga?

Koraga: Burglars! *hits Atsura over the head with a frying pan*
Sparrow: Stop! *Lights a candle, and steps away from the unconscious Atsura and Koraga*
Koraga: Oh. It's you. Funny how you showed up at the same time the burglar tried to rob me.
Sparrow: …
Koraga: Oh... was he with you?
Sparrow: …
Koraga: I see. Uh, sorry about that.
Sparrow: Anyways...
Koraga: What do you want?
Sparrow: I need your help. Everyone in town's trying to catch me.
Koraga: *smiles* So you do lead the Ameyura. I had a hunch.
Sparrow: Yeah, and now they're trying to arrest me!
Koraga: There's nothing I can do, I have no influence here. Not after the Kachyu arrived...
Sparrow: So that's why he moved them... He was trying to get rid of you.
Koraga: Probably. I still have ears in this town though, and I've heard that the Prince is moving against me in the morning.
Sparrow: What?! We have to get you out of here!
Koraga: You can't. I'm under house arrest. If I leave, they'll put me in prison.
Sparrow: Then what will you do?
Koraga: I was planning on hiding in the basement and hoping they'd go away. Seriously though, I wasn't going to do anything.
Sparrow: What?! Why not?!
Koraga: Believe it or not, I am a very old man. There isn't much I can do anymore. Everything I know I've told you-
Sparrow: Not everything!
Koraga: Well, then examine my office. There are several books in there- my memoirs. As I was saying, I have taught you everything 'important' I know. If I let the Prince capture me, what's the worse that happens? I'm martyred for our cause? I'm imprisoned? Prison won't do much good, a couple years and I'm sure to be gone, ha!
Sparrow: But... you, you just can't give in.
Koraga: It's not giving in, it's laying back! *Sparrow stares at him* What I mean is, I'm taking a rest, after all these years. I can finally relax for a bit.
Sparrow: But... I just can't watch you, or any person, just die.
Koraga: What would you have me do? Would you have me, you and your gorilla man escape the entire town? You know that's impossible, for three, especially when those three are crippled by an old man!
Sparrow: …
Koraga: If you and your gorilla man can get to the gates of the town, they change the guards in half an hour. There you'll have a chance to get away.
Sparrow: I'm not sure about this... how can I just leave you?
Koraga: You have to learn to let go. I'm sorry, but things must happen this way.
Atsura: Uh... what hit me?

Koraga: *hides frying pan behind back* Nothing! You tripped over your feet, you clumsy gorilla man!
Atsura: Why do people always call me a gorilla man?!
Koraga: Maybe you should shave?

Scene 2 (Koraga's Home)
Sparrow and Atsura are sneaking out. The guard changes, they escape. They stop outside the town though.
Sparrow: I have to see them take away Koraga.
Atsura: And I have to stay with you!
Sparrow and Atsura spend the night outside.

Scene 3 (Hospital)
Sanyuta is recovering. A nurse is changing his bandages. He is sitting up. After they are changed, he stands up and stretches.
Nurse: You-you really shouldn't be standing up yet!
Sanyuta: I'm fine. In a week, I'll be back in action.
Nurse: What?! You're healing quick!
Sanyuta: It's because I have a rival. Every time I think of him, it makes me restless. He makes me want to leave this place, so I can defeat him! I will crush him when we meet! *Nurse shrinks away*

Scene 4 (Campsite)
Sparrow is woken with a samurai standing above him. He fights with him, and wins after Atsura wakes up. They look over a rock, and see a group of samurai. There is also a fearsome looking contraption, a cage within what looks like a carved dragon on wheels.

Eyes Peeled, Swords Drawn!!

Act 1, Scene 1 (Campsite)
Continued directly after A Man, A Sword, and A Bird. Sparrow and Atsura are watching the convoy enter town.
Sparrow: They're here for Koraga.
Atsura: Yup.
Sparrow: ...
Atsura: So... what are we going to do?
Sparrow: Follow them into town.
Atsura: They'll recognize us.
Sparrow: Not if we have disguises.

Scene 2 (At Dattegoru Gates)
There is a guard. Sparrow and Atsura walk up, in ridiculous disguises; moss mustaches and beards, monocles, capes, and, in Atsura's case, walking on his knees, with his knees in his shoes

Guard: Whoa! W-What-Who are you?
Atsura: We are the brothers Gokan! *laughs wildly*
Guard: Umm... ok...! Just, uh, just go.
Sparrow: *whispers* it worked!
Atsura: Of course! My manners are impeccable! *laughs wildly*
Sparrow: You can lay off the act now.
Atsura: That wasn't an act.
Sparrow: Uh...

Scene 3 (Koraga's Home, Same Day)
Several sturdy looking police type people pull him out of bed, and drag him out of his house. They bring him to the town square, where Sparrow and Atsura where discovered the day before. Sparrow and Atsura arrive in the background and watch what's happening.
Sparrow: Atsura, fetch 10 men, and arm them. Bring them back here as quickly as possible.
Atsura: There's a small band foraging near here, I remember them leaving the caverns.
Sparrow: Good! Now go, get them and get back here!
Atsura: Yes, Sparrow!
Atsura leaves, and Sparrow checks his weapons.
Koraga: Mayor Dorato, what gives me the pleasure of meeting you... again?
Mayor Dorato (Important Looking Man): (sarcastically) Why, Koraga, my dearest friend! It would seem that the Prince most mighty has decided that you are a traitor! This cannot be, but I fear the worst... perhaps you could allay my fears?
Koraga: I would argue my innocence, but you have already chosen my sentence. *gestures to prison wagon cage*
Mayor Dorato: Oh, that?! Hehe, that's nothing! Just a... a... a precaution.
Koraga: Sure it is.
Mayor Dorato: So, you do not want to argue your innocence.
Koraga: Nope.
Mayor Dorato: It's your last chance...
Koraga: To give you some amusement? No thanks.
Mayor Dorato: Are you totally sure...?
Koraga: If I could get away with it, I would kill you right now.
Mayor Dorato: Oh! Well, if that's the case... Men!
Police people walk up, and cuff Koraga. They lead him to the Prison wagon cage.
Mayor Dorato: Mwahahahaha! *arrow through his aide*
Sparrow (in the distance): Dang it! I missed.
Mayor Dorato: Agh! Assassins!!! Save me! Uh, I mean, get them!
Police look around, bewildered. Sparrow takes the opportunity and shoots several police with arrows, then another one which hits right next to the Mayor. The Mayor can't take the stress and runs away, screaming like a little girl.
Policeman 1: Why is he our Mayor?
Policeman 2: Dunno.

Act 2, Scene 1 (Same Area, and Time)
Sparrow: I'm running out of arrows...
Policeman 3 (in distance): Look! Up, behind that house! *gestures towards Sparrow*
Sparrow: Crap. I need some new cover.
Sparrow slips off of the roof and runs through an alley as a troop of police chase him. He ducks inside of Koraga's house.
Sparrow: *pant, pant*
Police (jumbled): He's in there!
Sparrow: Crap.
*Silence*
Sparrow: ?
Sparrow: *sniff* ...smoke? Wait a second... where there's smoke...!
Sparrow runs to a window to see a ring of fire surrounding Koraga's house.
Sparrow: They must be serious about killing me!

Scene 2 (Mayor's Panic Room)
Mayor Dorato: Did you know, I'm even burning the traitor's house down!

Scene 3 (Koraga's Home, Same Time)
Sparrow: *jumps out of a window and rolls through the fire*
He is caught by police a few moments later.

Scene 4 (Outside Dattegoru)
Sparrow and Koraga are in the Prison wagon cage.
Koraga: Smooth. Smooth. I told you not to interfere! What were you even trying to do!
Sparrow: Nothing, at first I was just watching. Then that Mayor guy got me fired up... and it all just snowballed from there.
Koraga: *face palms* I thought I taught you better than this. You have to keep in mind your every move! You can't let your emotions run you! Gah!
Sparrow: Um. I'm sorry?
Koraga: You'd better be. Now you're going to jail, along with me. We need to get you out of here.
Sparrow: *smiles* I'm already working on it.
Scene shifts to a distance from the Prison wagon cage Convoy. Atsura is there, along with the men Sparrow sent him to fetch. They are watching the convoy, and are armed.
Atsura: Ok men, our mission: to free Sparrow! Let's go!
The men charge at the convoy, and a small, but heated, battle ensues. During the battle Atsura slips away to the Prison wagon cage.
Atsura: Stay away from the lock!
Sparrow and Koraga together: What?!
*(muffled) BOOM*>
Together: What was that?
Atsura: Grenade. *swings open door* Let's go!
Koraga: *looks around, sees dead people, injured, etc.* I'm not going.
Sparrow and Atsura: What?!

Koraga: I really don't want to run away anymore. I'm more of a liability than an advantage. Leave me.
Atsura: Sparrow, we need to leave. Reinforcements from Dattegoru are coming.
Sparrow: Gr. Fine. Let's go. I'm sorry, Koraga.>
Battle ends as the Ameyura leave.

Scene 5 (Towards Moresuke)
All of the Ameyura head for their hometown, Moresuke.

Scene 6 (Capital)
a dark, industrial city. The Prison wagon cage is seen entering a massive prison facility. The doors CLANG shut. Screams are heard coming from the prison.

Scene 7 (Hospital)
Sanyuta. He is exercising, while a shocked nurse watches.

“To Bring You Up To Speed”
You may have noticed, but i am now posting "chapters" from my story, The Prince. Of course, to find the first one, you have to go back to the first one labeled "The Prince" (which would be my second post(ever))
I'm planning on releasing the first one onto the blog today, then releasing a chapter or two at intervals of time.

The Bandits
Continued from Eyes Peeled, Swords Drawn!. Part of Dattegoru Arch. Sparrow, Atsura, and 8 others are marching through the a desert. Sparrow and Atsura are looking at a map, that shows a desert not too far from Dattegoru. It runs close to Moresuke, and right now they are not far from Dattegoru, but are very far from Moresuke.

Act 1, Scene 1 (In Desert)
Atsura: Are you sure this is the route you want to take?
Sparrow: Yeah, it seems to be our only option so far. The Prince's men are chasing us, and they don't have any presence- or authority- in the Joku Desert. It runs close to Moresuke, so if we follow it through we'll arrive home without any difficulties.
Atsura: Except for the ones nature makes for us! You're talking about the Joku Desert; no water, no cattle, nothing to live off of.
Sparrow: We can make it, if we move fast.
Atsura: There are bandits in the desert, and-
Sparrow: Enough! We are moving out tomorrow morning. That's final.
Atsura: Fine. *under his breath* Lead us to our deaths.
Sparrow rallies the men. They leave.

Ameyura 1: Sparrow, I think we should stop soon. It's very hot out here.
Sparrow: No duh. Deal with it, Nashyodo. It's hotter when the Prince's interrogators brand you.
Nashyodo (Ameyura 1): *grumbles under breath*
Atsura: *walks up to Sparrow, who is leading the small pack* Sparrow, Nashyodo's not the only one getting restless. The hot sun is getting to all of them. We should stop, it's the hottest time of the day. It would be foolhardy to press on.
Sparrow: How do I stand with the men?
Atsura: Nashyodo is the latest to become displeased with you. There are four others who aren't exactly crazy about you right now. They are; Machyuzu, Yugami, Reshite, and Gubato. Ramaku, Dente, and Wapora are still completely loyal to you. (Faces pop up for each name, identifying them
Sparrow: Those aren't very good odds...
Atsura: Sparrow, your men are trying to tell you something. Listen to them, I beg you.
Sparrow: *internal conflict* Fine... we'll stop for a little while. But it won't be a long break, I promise you!
Entire party stops, and rests. They set up tents for shade.
Sparrow: Don't get too comfortable! In an hour or so, we're going to leave.
Wapora: Sparrow, I hate to complain, but I really don't think we should go. It's much too hot.
Sparrow: (in his head) Another of my supporters gone. Before too long, it'll be a mutiny!
Sparrow: We have to keep moving, unless you want the Prince's men to catch you?

Scene 2 (Camp, Same Day)
Wapora, grumbling, gets up. He falls down, never to get back up again, a moment later. With an ax in his back. The Ameyura begin to panic, and Reshite goes down before Sparrow can restore order.
Sparrow: Show yourselves!
A large group of bandits hop over dunes. They are dressed for desert life, but their weapons are very modern and new looking. There is about twenty of them.
Sparrow: Why are you attacking us?!
Bandits: *laugh*
Bandit Chieftain: Seriously?! *laughs* (mocking Sparrow) Why are you attacking us?! The indignity! Because we're bandits. Now give us your money, and uh, your cattle, and... *looks hard at Ameyura. Sees how destitute they look* You know what, put those ideas on hold. You're obviously worthless.
Ameyura: Hey!
Bandit Chieftain: But I think you'll fetch a good price at the market, eh? *laughs wickedly*
Scene 3 (Irakura, in his palace)
He is sitting on his throne. There are several other throne like chairs in the room, all around a table, that Irakura's throne stands at the head of. There is nobility sitting in the chairs.
Irakura: (lazily) Today, we'll open up our meeting with a report from the battlefront. Gentlemen, General Sukaru. *gestures towards doors, which guards open*

Doors open, and General Sukaru walks in. He has several scars, and is strongly built.
General Sukaru: Your Highness. Nobles. I have just returned from the front lines, where I have been fighting hard, and may have turned away several losses, and-
Irakura: Sukaru. Your report, not your 'resume'. *smirks*
Sukaru: Eh, very well. The point of the matter is, we're not doing well. Our lines falter, and the battle lines are constantly shifting. Disease ran rampant, till our recent dealings with the Witch of Gyuna- *Prince Glares at him* -Which is a separate story. Our men are not used to fighting in the foreigner's land, and we are stuck on the paths that lead right back to the shores we arrived on. We need  more men, and new weapons. Our weapons are not as well suited to fighting in the dense jungles and flat plains as the people of Teragyushi's are. In terms of casualties, we are doing a bit better. The fighting has died down, with battles being fought sporadically. We are staying our position as best we can in the circumstances. But eventually, without more help from the homeland, we will be expunged.
Irakura: I see. Gentlemen, what do you think?
The nobles begin to discuss the situation, as Sukara walks up to Irakura, and gives him a scroll
Sukaru: This has all the details of our dealings with the Witch of Gyuna.
Irakura: Very good. If needed, can you reach her again?
Sukaru: Easily.
Irakura: Excellent! Now to hear what my advisors have to say about your dilemma. *Prince claps, bringing the Nobles to attention* What have you to say?
Noble 1: Sir, I suggest we keep our men on the shores, and abandon all out war for now.
Irakura: Zen, my dear Zen. Always thinking outside of the box. I will keep that suggestion in mind. But, I hope that our soldiers are men enough to win! *laughs, and Nobles join in*
Zen: Um, thank you.
Irakura: Yes, Datte?
Datte: I say we move some people from my city, Dattegoru, to reinforce the army.
Irakura: (hiding anger) And do you have some people in mind?
Datte: Indeed! We have been gifted with a surplus of population, and I can spare some of the Kachyu Clan, without damaging the infrastructure of the city.
Irakura: (Angrily) I'm sure you can! Datte, I know that you have a grudge with the Kachyu head. I hoped that you would be able to see past that, and work with them. Obviously I was wrong. I will be moving the Kachyu head to a cooperative position with you. When it comes to the Kachyu, he will have an equal say in your city.
Datte: No! You can't do this to me! You can't make Tuma my partner!
Irakura: Yes, I can! Now hold your tongue, before I make Tuma your replacement! Now, anyone else? *silence* Very well. Sukaru, we can do nothing for now. I will raise a relief force within the end of the year however. You will have more men in six months time.
Sukaru: Thank you, your eminence. *Leaves*
Irakura: We have two more pieces of business for today. I've hired a group of bandits to hunt down Sparrow. I want all of you to make sure he is known, as an outlaw and a terrorist, in your cities. I want to draw a net around him, and then to close it shut, with no room for escape. The other piece of business is just a notification. Our attempts to

strengthen the war effort by increasing weapon production has come to naught. The terrorist band known as the Ameyura kidnapped all of the people we sent to Deri. They probably killed them all.

Act 2, Scene 1 (Desert)
Scene shifts to Sparrow, who is tied to his other men in a chain. Dattegoru is in sight.
Sparrow: How come we got here so quickly, the men wouldn't march this quick for me!
Bandit Chieftain: Shut up! And uh, there's no room for escape! So no funny business!
Sparrow: You're kidding right? There's always a way to escape. Like this! *Rips rope, with a hidden knife, and in a few seconds all of the Ameyura are free, and before the Bandits know what's happened, six of them are dead.*
Chieftain: There's still twice as many of us! Get them!
Scuffle ensues. Fight ends after the Chieftain grabs Sparrow and threatens him.

Scene 2 (Dattegoru)
They march into town.
*Dramatic music plays, and the mayor, Dorato walks out of the City Hall, smirking.*
Mayor Dorato: Welcome back Sparrow.
Scene 3 (Hospital)
Sanyuta. He is outside running. A nurse is talking to a doctor.
Doctor: He will be ready to leave soon.
Nurse: He's healed incredibly fast!
Doctor: Yes, yes he has...

Tauma and Datte – The Grudge

Act 1, Scene 1 (On the way to Dattegoru)
Carriage is going down a road. The view shifts to across the lone occupant of the carriage. Datte.

Scene 2 (
Kachyu Circle
)
Sanyuta arrives home.
Sanyuta: Tauma, Lord of the Kachyu Clan. *bows* Father. *smiles, stands and embraces him*
Tauma: Welcome back my son. *hugs him back* The Kachyu have hit upon hard times since you left. Can you believe this? They've forced us all into living in a ring on the outskirts off town! The Mayor Dorato resents us, and wishes to get rid of us. As does the ruler of this city, Datte.
Sanyuta: What can we do?
Tauma: So far, nothing. But...  we have made preparations to take the city from Dorato. Then, we can force Datte to accept our demands.
Sanyuta: Father, you lead us wisely.
Tauma: Why back so quickly, my son?
Sanyuta (becomes crestfallen): I was defeated in battle, honorably. I was injured gravely, so I was sent to recover.

Tauma: Indeed! It must have been a mighty warrior indeed to defeat you.
Sanyuta: That is right. His name was Sparrow.
Tauma: Sparrow, the leader of the Ameyura Resistance?
Sanyuta: Correct.
Tauma: I hear he is in this very town!
Sanyuta: Fate would indeed be generous to bring me my rival so quickly!
Tauma: Then it indeed fortuitous, for Sparrow is in prison this very moment!
Sanyuta: I can't face him in prison... when we clash, I want it to be on an even field. I must forge a new mask as well...
Tauma: All of the needed tools are in the shop.
Sanyuta: Thank you father. Tell me, why does Datte hate you so much?
Tauma: When the Kachyu arrived he mocked and scorned us. I taught him a lesson. He has the scars to prove it. Afterwards, he left, and our lot improved, until he appointed Dorato as the mayor.
Sanyuta: We must do something about this.
Tauma: I'm already working on it. By tonight, this city will be a new place.

Scene 3 (Prison)
Datte enters.
Datte: The infamous Sparrow! The Prince will pay handsomely for your head. Dorato, send a messenger to the capital! Tell them, from Datte's mouth, “We Have Sparrow!”
Dorato: Yes, your grace, right away, your majesticness. *leaves to do his evil bidding*
Datte: So Sparrow, the Prince's bandits actually did their job.
Sparrow: The bandits were sent by the Prince?!
Datte: Correct. *laughs maliciously* And they actually caught you!
Sparrow: Gr...
Datte: Fool. It's over for you. Even now my messenger nears the capital. We're quite lucky to live so close to it, aren't we? *laughs*

Scene 4 (Rapid Changing Scenes)
Scene changes. It is night now. Several scenes are shown. The Prince, in his carriage, headed to Dattegoru. Then, Sparrow, in prison, frustrated. Finally, the Kachyu marching into Dattegoru, with Sanyuta (in a new mask) and Tauma leading the way. They are armed to fight.
Tauma: For the glory of the Kachyu!
*The Kachyu are opposed by the police*
Police Chief: Halt! We don't want to fight you! Just go back to bed, and I'll forget this happened.
Tauma: You are right, you don't want to fight us! *laughs, turns to men*  Do you want to go home?
Men (roar): No!!!
Tauma: What do you want?!
Men (roar): Equality!
Tauma: And how will we get that?!
Men (roar): Through a glorious victory over our supposed masters!

Tauma: These 'police' are in the service of our 'masters'. They are corrupt and weak. Show them what we think of their Lord Datte!
The Kachyu charge, and there is an epic battle.
Sanyuta: I am going to the prison, father!
Tauma: To free your rival?
Sanyuta: Correct.
Tauma: Very well. Achi, Fhura, go with Sanyuta!

Act 2, Scene 1 (Prison)
The named men go with Sanyuta to the prison. There is a short scuffle with the guards who are quickly defeated.
Sparrow: Who...
Sanyuta: *removes mask*
Sparrow: Sanyuta?! Your alive?!
Sanyuta: Obviously. *opens prison door* I am coming for you in three days. Prepare yourself.
Sparrow: Why?
Sanyuta: Because, you defeated me... in order to become stronger I must defeat my rival. You are my rival.
Sparrow: … *clenches teeth*
*Prince, Datte, and Dorato enter*
Sanyuta: Here! *tosses Sparrow's weapons to him, then flees*
Sparrow: *shoots arrow through Dorato's neck* I've been waiting for that!
Dorato: Gurgle... *dead*
Prince: *steps back out of door*
Datte: Wh-where are you going?
Prince: A moment ago you were exuberant about how you caught the Sparrow. And this is your city. Take care of it. *walks away*
Sparrow: Come back here, you coward!
Prince (in distance): “Sticks and stones.”
Sparrow: Out of my way.
Datte: I-I can't let you do that. *Draws sword*
Sparrow: Yes you can.
Datte (resolutely): No, I can't. You are my prisoner. This is my city! Rah! *charges at Sparrow*
What follows is an intense sword/shoto duel. Very cool.
Sparrow: *stabs Datte in side*
Datte: agh... *falls over*
Sparrow: *steps over body, then runs after Prince*

Scene 2 (Prince's Citadel)
Irakura is in a tower, overlooking the city. There are several buildings on fire.
Prince (to aide): Tell Tauma I'm willing to negotiate a truce.
Aide: Yes, sir!

Scene 3 (
City Square
)
The police are behind barracades. The Kachyu are on the offensive.
Datte: *staggers out of city hall, limping*
Tauma and Sanyuta: Datte! *glare*
Datte (weakly): R-ra-rally m-men...! Show these-these animals... who's boss. *falls over, bleeding from side wound*
Tauma: Men, watch, as I destroy our oppressor! *goes up to Datte, and kills him* There is nothing we can't do! *Kachyu cheer*
Prince's aide walks forward, waving a white flag.
Tauma: What do you want, insect?
Aide: *whispers words to Tauma*
Tauma: *laughs* So he does! Tell him I'll meet him here, where I'm in control.
Aide: With respect, the Prince anticipated that offer. He has suggested meeting at the gates of town... neutral territory, if you will.
Tauma: That clever guy! Very well. I agree to meet him there, at sunrise!

Scene 4 (City Roads)
Sparrow is running through the city.
Sparrow (thinking): The Prince is hiding in that tower... I'm so close... I've got him in the palm of my hand, if only I can catch him! The others are waiting for me... I'll need their help to infiltrate the Citadel...

Infiltrate! The Sunrise Citadel Challenge!

Author's Notes. By Canon
i refuse to break this up, for multiple reasons, mainly laziness. It will all be counted as one scene.

Continued from Tauma and Datte – The Grudge. Sparrow has reunited with his men.
Sparrow (thoughts): Dente, Nashyodo, Machyuzu, Yugami, Reshite, and Gubato. Along with Atsura, these are all the men I have to infiltrate the Prince's Citadel. They've told me that there is an armistice meeting in the morning, so I have to do this job tonight. In the chaos I was able to break into city hall, where they had a file on the Citadel. *Spreads plan on table*
(Speaks) Gentlemen, this is our target. The Prince is on the top floor. *gasps from men* I know, he's right here. The only thing in our way is this Citadel. It has twelve floors, a marvel of modern ingenuity. As I said, the Prince is on the twelfth floor. The eleventh is quarters for everyone else. The tenth is an armory. The ninth is a treasury, or a bank, or both! I don't really know, the plans weren't very clear. The eighth is under construction for some new project. The seventh is some sort of fake forest. These people are eccentric! Anyways, the sixth is a factory, and the fifth holds experimental machinery. Wait... ok! That makes more sense. The fifth is a factory, and the sixth holds new machinery! The

fourth is a barracks, and the third and second floors are offices. The first floor is nothing really.
These plans show some device, labeled an elevator, running through all twelve floors. It describes the elevator, and it sounds like a simple box on a pulley. I think that using the elevator is our best bet. We need to be quick. There's bound to be tons of guards in there. Here's the plan (fades out) Yugami, you'll use your arrows to...
Scene shifts to outside of Citadel. Sparrow and the Ameyuras are outside.
Sparrow (whispers): Yugami, you ready?
Yugami: *nods. Shoots four arrows into the second floor. They are connected to ropes, and make a sort of tunnel bridge*
Nashyodo: Are you sure this will work?
Sparrow: It better. Atsura, you're on.
Atsura: *nods*
Atsura, Machyuzu, and Gubato leave. They sneak into the first floor, and knock out the guards. They climb to the second floor, find Yugami's arrows, and secure them. They then take one of the lanterns that lights the place and flashes it, three times.
Sparrow: There's the signal. Go!
Sparrow, Nashyodo, Dente, Yugami, and Reshite climb the ropes to the second floor.
Sparrow (to Atsura): So your side went off without a hitch?
Atsura: Yeah. I think they've spread the guards out throughout the building.
Sparrow: That could make our job harder or easier... I wonder which it will end up being.
The Ameyura sneak to the elevator, which is built to control itself. They quietly move themselves up. When they pass the barracks, a guard spots them. He raises the alarm, before Yugami silences him. Guards rush to stop them, but they've already passed the fourth floor. The cut the ropes below, so they can't go back down. The guards climb the stairs, and rush to get ahead of them. They finally pass them when the elevator reaches the sixth floor, and cut the ropes. They all manage to jump out of the elevator before it falls.
Reshite: What now? We're trapped, and even if we get the Prince, how will we escape?
Sparrow: Let me think...
Atsura: We are in a bad situation.
Sparrow: Whatever happens, we have to get the Prince. It won't matter if we die if we can kill him. What's that over there?
Dente: It's a ballista! Except its modified so that it can shoot many arrows without reloading... strange!
Sparrow: We can use that. Nashyodo, Reshite, Gubato, hold off the guards at the entrance. The rest of you, help me with this!
Nashyodo, Reshite, and Gubato hold the door from the stairs closed, but Nashyodo is killed before they are called to leave. Before that, Sparrow and the others use all of their ropes (all of the Ameyura had a roll of rope on them when they entered) tied to the ballista arrows, to make a way out. They bring the ballista to the edge of the building, and maneuver it so that it rips through the wall and is vertical to the ground. They launch all of the roped arrows into a higher floor, and begin climbing.
Sparrow: Whenever you feel a rope give, switch to another!
The Ameyura begin the treacherous trek. They all make it to the ninth floor, and then they are forced to leave the ropes. Dente falls during the transition and dies.

Sparrow: I'm losing all of them. *angry* The Prince will pay!
Atsura: Sparrow, the ones on the higher floors are waking up!
Sparrow: Hurry, we're close!
The Ameyura move through the bank quickly, burning all of the paper currency. They enter the tenth floor, to find a lot of men, armed to the teeth.
Guard Boss: Give up. You can't go back, and you're not going through us.
Sparrow: We'll see about that... Atsura!
Atsura (armed with a club): *picks up nearby club, and tears a hole in the ceiling*
Reshite is killed as the Ameyura scurry through the opening Atsura made.
Sparrow: Quickly now, before they catch up with us!
*Big guy comes out of a room. Yugami shoots him, but it only scratches him. He smiles*
Machyuzu: I'll take care of him, you guys go!
Machyuzu is obviously outmatched, but the Ameyura are forced to leave, if they wish to kill the Prince. They see steaks of light in the sky.
Sparrow: We're so close... his room is just down the hall!
The Ameyura hurry. Several guards pop out of doors and they capture Gubato, and the remaining Ameyura burst into the Prince's chambers.
Yugami: *shoots several arrows into the lump on the bed, that looks like the Prince*
Lump: *makes a huge flash*
All: What?!
Guards: *Kill Yugami, grab Sparrow and Atsura*
Scene changes to a house with a window facing the Citadel. The flash is seen, and the view goes back. Irakura is sitting at a table, smiling.
Irakura: Sparrow, you've impressed me. Even more reason you have to die.
Back to the Citadel
Sparrow: *kicks guard when he is shocked by flash*
Atsura: *throws guard (shocked) out of window*
Sparrow and Atsura run down the hall. Sparrow is extremely frustrated and saddened by all of his men being captured or killed. They manage to rescue Gubato. They go back for Machyuzu, and help him, beaten up though he is, to beat the big guy. The three of them can't go down the stairs, because the fire on the ninth floor is out of control, so they jump into the elevator shaft. There is still rope this high up, so they climb down a couple floors, to the sixth floor. On the sixth floor, they start to climb down the ropes from the ballista (if you remember, they fell) but the Prince's men start cutting them. Gubato is killed. As they hit the ground, guards kill Machyuzu. Atsura drags Sparrow away.
Scene shifts back to Irakura.
Irakura: Now then. *all of the floors above the ninth collapse into the fire, and the ninth floor destroys itself* I doubt you'll be interrupting tomorrow, little Sparrow. *smiles*
Scene changes to some house where Sparrow and Atsura are hiding. Sparrow is a little feverish, and Atsura is taking care of him.
Sparrow: I-I lost all-all of them... *remembers each one of them, in a happy situation*
Atsura: It's all right. They knew what they were getting into.
Sparrow: I will honor their memories... and destroy the Prince!

Armistice- Kachigoru City!!

Act 1, Scene 1 (Outside City)
Beautiful, sunny day. Birds are singing in the background. There is a table set up, with two chairs. On one side, there is Tauma, Sanyuta, and the Kachyu Clan. On the other, is Irakura and his soldiers.
Irakura and Tauma: *sit down at table*
Irakura: Tauma, I am so sorry about your treatment. I meant only to save your honorable clan from extinction.
Tauma: …
Irakura: To show how sorry I am, I am renaming the city, instead of Dattegoru, it will now be known as Kachigoru!
Tauma: Do you think you can buy us off with something as simple as changing the name of the city?
Irakura: Of course not, I simply meant to show you how regretful I was things turned out the way they did. You name your price.
Tauma: All of my people will be treated the same as the others. You will force some of the inner and mid city ring residents to move to make room for the Kachyu to move in. Our symbol will be displayed with the symbol of the city.
Irakura: All reasonable demands.
Tauma: I have one more. This one is more personal though. If Sparrow is found within the city, I demand that my son be given a chance to confront  him.
Irakura: Your son... would that be Sanyuta? Of course, your son is very capable.
Tauma: Those are all of my demands.
Irakura: Very good.
Irakura and Tauma: *stand up and shake hands*

Scene 2 (Prince In Capital)
Irakura (to aide): Send for that Witch. I have a feeling we'll need her, and I want her here, in the capital, where I can watch her for a little while.
Irakura (to door guards): Open the doors. (To self) Time for another 'fun' meeting with the Nobles... I swear they're getting harder to keep in line.
*Nobles troop in and take their places*
Irakura: Hey... I need someone to rule Kachigoru...
Nobles: ?
Irakura: Kachigoru is the new name for Dattegoru. This is the only time I will tell you this.
Nobles: Oh!
*Many voices call out, and they argue for a little while*
Irakura: Zen... yes, Zen Arugunta, you will have Kachigoru.
Zen: Thank you, your grace.
Irakura: Now, on the matter of raising taxes in... (fades out)

Scene 3 (City Alleys)
Atsura, and Sparrow, weakened by a short bout with sickness, are running from a few Kachyu Samurai. They are backed up in an ally.

Samurai 1: I bet Sanyuta would be upset if we killed his rival.
Samurai 2: He didn't say anything about the other one though.
Samurai 3: Hehehe.
All three fall over, with throwing knives in their backs. An old man is at the head of the ally, holding another knife.
Sparrow: Friend or foe?
Old Man: Friend! Don't you remember me, Sparrow? Don't you remember Gozen?
Sparrow: *mini flashback* Gozen... you brought me to Koraga, right? What are you doing here?
Gozen (Old Man): I live here! Why do you think Irakura chose me to bring you here, all those years ago?
Atsura: ?
Sparrow: Irakura found me when I was a kid and sent me to Koraga, ok? I don't want to talk about it.
Atsura: Whatever you say.
Sparrow: So Gozen, what do you think of the changes in the city?
Gozen: I like the fact that the Kachyu are going to be treated equally. They're good people. I liked the little light show the other night at the Citadel, by the way. I assume that was you?
Atsura: Yeah, that was us.
Sparrow: Do you like Irakura?
Gozen: …
Sparrow: You probably know I'm leading the Ameyura Resistance.
Gozen: I don't like him very much. But, we could have worse.
Sparrow: ?!
Gozen: Datte could have been the Prince, or even Dorato! That would be worse, don't you agree?
Sparrow: I suppose... but Irakura is pretty bad.
Gozen: *laughs* Come with me to my home, I'll fix you two dinner!
Sparrow and Atsura: Uh... sure... I guess.
While following Gozen home, Sparrow and Atsura have an epic battle with a ninja samurai, without Gozen noticing. Gozen fixes them dinner. Sparrow and Atsura are convinced to stay the night.

Scene 4 (Gozen's Home)
They wake up in the morning.
Sparrow: mumble, mumble...
Atsura: *snore*
Door is kicked down, people shouting.
Sparrow: Did you hear that?
Atsura: Yeah. Let's go.
Sparrow and Atsura try to go out the window, but are caught by Kachyu Samurai. Sparrow is brought face to face with Sanyuta.
Sanyuta: Sparrow... at last.
Sparrow: Sanyuta...

After Sanyuta and Sparrow's First Clash!!

Act 1, Scene 1 (Same as Previous Chapter)
Sparrow is face to face with Sanyuta for the first time since Led Away.
Sparrow: I'm surprised you survived your wounds.
Sanyuta: I am a very hardy man... especially when I have a rival, like you! Now, the time for talking has passed! Draw your curious little sword! I will taste blood, whether it be mine or yours!
Sparrow: Can we please do this another time...
Sanyuta: No! Jerk! I've waited long enough! My body healed slowly, but now I'm here, and I'm not backing down.
Sanyuta and Sparrow: *draw weapons and fight*
In the following fight, Sparrow was easily beat. He was a little weakened by sickness, but Sanyuta has made incredible bounds of progress, and is much stronger now. When the battle ends, Sanyuta is disappointed.
Sanyuta: Is that all? Where is your spirit? How are you so easily crushed?
Sparrow: *cough*
Atsura: *breaks free from guard holding him*Of course it is! We've been on the run ever since we arrived here! He was sick recently! He hasn't even recovered fully.
Sanyuta: *stares at defeated Sparrow* I will give you one week to prepare. Be back here in five days, or I will chase after you. And you don't want that.
Sparrow: Ugh...
Atsura: *clenches teeth* Let's go, Sparrow.
Sparrow: …

Scene 2 (Outside Kachigoru)
Atsura brings Sparrow away from Kachigoru. There is a caravan of some sort outside the gates, setting up camp for the night.
Atsura: Excuse me...
Caravan 1: Who are you?
Atsura: My name is Mogareus. Me and my friend are fleeing from the chaos of the revolution in Dattegoru. That's why he's hurt.
Caravan 1: My name is Eji Ruseto. I am the leader of this caravan.
Atsura: May my friend and I please go with you? I promise we won't be a burden.
Eji (caravan 1): I suppose. Where are you headed?
Atsura: To Moresuke, have you heard of it?
Eji: I have. One of our players, Aro Mare, is from Moresuke.
Atsura: What is this caravan?
Eji: It is the home and life of the Traveling Players! We move from place to place, performing!
Atsura: I see...

Scene 3 (Montage)
Travel Montage. Sparrow gets sick again, and Atsura takes care of him. Two days later, they arrive in Moresuke. By that time, Sparrow has healed.

Atsura: Thank you, Eji. I hope we didn't burden you.
Eji: Not at all, not at all. Glad to be of service... *caravan leaves*
Atsura and Sparrow: *enter the home seen in Led Away*
Sparrow: Atana Sensei...
Atana Sensei: *walks into room* Sparrow? What are you doing in my house- what happened to you?!
Sparrow: Sanyuta's alive... and stronger.
Atana Sensei: He beat you like this, and let you get away?
Sparrow: Not quite... he gave me one week to train for a final confrontation with him... because I'm 'his rival'.
Atana Sensei: If he beat you like this, you'd better spend your week wisely.
Atsura: Actually, we've been traveling for two days, and he has to be back there in time, so we actually have closer to three days.
Atana Sensei: ?!
Woman: *walks in* Father?
Atana Sensei: Imeda, Sparrow has returned.
Imeda (Woman): Sparrow! *flings self into his arms*
Sparrow: *grunt in pain*
Atsura (to Atana): As you can see, he's not fully healed yet.
Imeda: Atsura, too! The children have missed you!
Atsura: Oh, really? I think I'll go tell them I'm back... *leaves*
Sparrow: Him and children... *shakes head*
Imeda: They all love him. And he loves them back. Of course, there is one child who wanted you back more than Atsura... and here he is! He must have already seen Atsura, and figured out you were back.
Small child: *bursts in* Sparrow!
Sparrow: Gekkou!
Older girl with slight resemblance to Gekkou: Hello, Sparrow.
Sparrow: Hello, Ekura.
Ekura (Older Girl): So glad to see you home safely.
Sparrow: I'm sure.
*chill in air*
Atana: Ekura! How do you do? Haven't seen you around since you and Sparrow split up!
Ekura: He broke up with me!
Sparrow: My work's too important...! My duty is all-consuming, I don't have time for relationships anymore.
Ekura: *cries, and leaves*
Imeda: I heard you didn't even leave her in person. I heard you just left a note on her doorstep when you left on a mission. You didn't really, did you?
Sparrow: …
Imeda: That's so cruel! No wonder she's angry with you. *leaves*
Sparrow: *sigh* Women.
Atana (happily): Women... *shakes head* So, what have you been up to? Did you accomplish anything while you were gone? You said you were fetching Koraga, where is he?

Sparrow: Koraga.... wouldn't come with us. He thought he would be a burden. They took him away in the Dragon Wagon Cage. I think he's in Nezogu.
Atana: Nezogu... the imperial prison... what a terrible place.
Sparrow: I also managed to lose ten men.
Atana: Heavens! Did nothing good happen?
Sparrow: Dattegoru is no longer Dattegoru, it's now Kachigoru.
Atana: Why?
Sparrow: The Kachyu revolted. They are equals in the city now. Datte and the mayor, Dorato, are both dead.
Atana: I met Datte once... he was a piece of work. The world will breathe a bit easier without him.
Sparrow: Oh, and we demolished four floors of the Datte- er, Kachigoru Citadel.
Atana: The Citadel?! What the blazes where you doing there?
Sparrow: The Prince was there, in Kachigoru, to negotiate a treaty with Tuma and the Kachyu. He was staying in the Citadel. I was this close to getting him, then we discovered he switched hiding places. Ten men, dead for nothing.
Atana: You know, if you really want to honor their memories-
Sparrow: -Destroy the Prince.
Atana: You took the words right out of my mouth.
Gekkou: So, did you beat the bad guys?!
Sparrow: *laughs* Some of them. But this time, a bad guy (thinking- not really bad, just misled) defeated me.
Gekkou: No way!
Sparrow: Way. So I've got to train hard, so I can defeat him!
Gekkou: Well, what are you doing standing around around, talking to this old guy for?!
Atana: Hey! Respect your elders!
Sparrow: You know what, your right. I'm gonna go train right now!

Scene 4 (Sparrow's Room)
Sparrow: *snore*

Scene 5 (Sanyuta, With his father)
Sanyuta: Father, he was so easy to defeat. He was a little weakened, but I've made huge improvements. In a few days, I will prove once and for all that I am the greatest warrior out there! Sparrow, I will defeat you!

Gekkou's Adventure- Search For The Lost Treasure!!
Sparrow's Dream Sequence
Ekura: You have to take care of Gakkou while I'm gone.
Sparrow: Why?!
Ekura: Because my fiance is taking me on a trip, and if you didn't break up with me, I wouldn't be going!
Sparrow: Doesn't he have his mother?

Ekura: She's busy watching the shop! Just stop complaining! *leaves*
Sparrow: Ug. *wakes up* Gekkou? Gekkou?! *sits up. House is trashed* Gekkou! *jumps up* Where are you?! Blast! *sees muddy footprints* Aha! *follows footprints to a shop*
Shopkeeper: What are you doing here, Sparrow?
Sparrow: I'm looking for Gekkou, have you seen him?
Shopkeeper: Indeed! He was in here less than an hour ago. He bought a treasure map, too.
Sparrow: *Checks bag for money... it's empty* Dang it.
Shopkeeper: I have another map... you can have it if you want, the kid payed ten times what it was worth!
Sparrow: *comedicly falls over* What?! That was my money! *grabs map and walks off grumbling*
Gang of Pirates: *enter shop* We're looking for a map!
Shopkeeper: Of course you are...
Change scene, to forest.
Sparrow: Gekkou! There you are!
Gekkou: Sparrow! Now this is a real adventure!
Sparrow: Gekkou, you have to go home! It's dangerous in the forests.
Gekkou: But Sparrow! I got this treasure map-
Sparrow: By spending ALL of my money! You twerp! You stole my money!
Gekkou: I didn't have enough!
Sparrow: Don't you know, the Ameyura and Moresuke are going through some tough times financially right now?
Gekkou: If we find this treasure, it will fix everything! I just want to help!
Sparrow: Fine, I guess we can look for it. (thinking) If I can keep Gekkou on this wild goose chase, I won't have to really watch him!
Gekkou: Yeah!
Sparrow: What does the map say first?
Gekkou: Find the ancient ruins.
Sparrow: Gee, that outta be real easy. NOT!
Scene change. Sparrow and Gekkou climb over a hill, and see some ruins.
Sparrow: You're kidding me. They actually exist?!
Gekkou: Of course! You have a map too, it must be real!
Aside from them, behind a bush.
Pirate Captain: And so do we. *grins*
Sparrow: So the map says next we find the old throne room... I wonder what that could be?
Gekkou: *climbs down hill and races into ruins* I found it!
Sparrow: *jaw drops* No way. *climbs down and finds Gekkou, standing in a room. The room has a large throne in the middle*
Gekkou: Next, we go one hundred paces from the far window. *Sparrow and Gekkou go one hundred steps*
Sparrow: *looking at map* Where is the tree with no leaves?!
Gekkou: There it is! *points to a stone pillar, with several offshoots*
Sparrow: How are we supposed to climb that?

Gekkou: Well, maybe you can't, fatty. But I can! *starts climbing*
Sparrow: (fretfully) Be careful! Do you see the spying glass yet?
Gekkou: (distantly) Yeah!
Sparrow: Turn it towards the ground then let go!
Gekkou: Ok... now what?
Sparrow: Now, you look in it.
Gekkou: Ok! I see a hill!
Sparrow: Can you remember what it looks like?
Gekkou: Yeah!
Sparrow: Great! You can come down now!
Gekkou: *climbs down*
Sparrow: Ok, lead us to that hill. That's where the directions resume.
Pirate Captain: This is great, boys! They'll lead us right to pa's treasure!
Pirate Group: Yo ho!
Scene change. Sparrow and Gekkou are on the hill.
Pirate Captain: We must be getting close to the treasure by now!
Sparrow: It looks like we're getting close to the treasure. The next step is to follow the stone path down the hill... what stone path?
Gekkou: *uncovers overgrown stone* This one!
Sparrow: That's starting to get on my nerves.
They walk down the path. The Pirates follow in their bush.
Sparrow: All right, next to last step- go fifty paces to the left, with the hill behind you. *Gekkou goes fifty paces with him*
Gekkou: Next, look for the tree with a hole in the trunk! *they look for a while, but can't find it, until Sparrow realizes the trees have grown, and looks higher*
Sparrow: Here it is!
Gekkou: Now we get the treasure!
Sparrow: (sarcastically) My favorite part. *starts digging*
Pirates: *jump out of bush* High ho, yo ho!
Gekkou: (scared) Pirates!
Sparrow: (bewildered(same time as Gekkou)) Pirates?!
Pirate Captain: Ay ay! Me hearties! This treasure is my father's! It's me right o' blood and iron, and all that to inheritize it.
Sparrow: We found it it's ours!
Captain: Methinks me wins the arguments, because I be havin a fierce gang o' pirates backin me up!
Pirates: *growl menacingly*
Gekkou: They're scary!
Sparrow: Don't let them intimidate you! This is OUR treasure!
Captain: No! It's mine!
Sparrow: Mine!
Captain: Mine!
Sparrow: Just get out of here!
Captain: Boys! *pirates arm themselves and back up their captain*
Sparrow: Boys! *a bunch of Ameyura pop out*

Gekkou: ?!
Sparrw: I had a feeling there would be pirates were there's treasure involved.
Captain: It doesn't matter! Men?
Pirates: Yo ho! Support the Captain!
Sparrow: Men?
Ameyura: Treasure!
Sparrow: -_- Men?
Ameyura: Er... for Sparrow! And the Ameyura!
Sparrow: That's better.
Battle commences. A very funny battle. In the end, the Ameyura win.
Sparrow: Let's see what the treasure is! *digs up treasure, opens treasure chest* It says... last message to my pirate sons... this is crap! *tosses paper away*
Captain: *dives at paper* This is it, chaps! Pa's last message!
Pirates: Yo ho! *gather around Captain*
Captain: So, pa says...
His voice fades out, and focuses on Sparrow.
Sparrow: We went through that just to get a pirate family letter?
Gekkou: But it was fun!
Sparrow: -_-
Captain: Thank you so much! *tears in eyes* This means a lot to me!
Sparrow: Uh, sure?
Captain: Anything you need, I'll help you out! You're a real guy! Just ask for Captain Gibu at the harbors!
Sparrow: Um sure. Thanks?
Captain: Ok me piratey fellows, let's go! *leaves*
Ekura: Why aren't you home?!
Sparrow: There were pirates-
Gekkou: -and treasure-
Sparrow: -and Gibu!
Ekura: Stop telling tales and get home!
Sparrow: But-
Ekura: Just be quiet.
End

Sparrow's Teacher – Gramp Sensei!!

Act 1, Scene 1 (Moresuke)
Sparrow is walking about Moresuke, down a road towards an old looking house. Gekkou trails after him, till Sparrow gets too close to the building, and Gekkou gets scared and leaves. The building itself is imposing. Sparrow knocks on the door. An old man answers the door.
Old Man: Who's there?

Sparrow: Eh hem.
Old Man: Is that you, Sparrow?
Sparrow: Duh. You are my grandfather, you should know that.
Old Man: Adoptive, adoptive!
Sparrow: … -.-
Old Man: What do you need?
Sparrow: I need to get stronger, Gramp Sensei. I need to be able to defeat a powerful foe.
Gramp Sensei (Old Man): Of course you do... Like when we first met? Do you remember?
Sparrow: You think I could forget?

Scene 2 (Flashback)
Sparrow is entering Moresuke.
Sparrow: *walks down (deserted) main road of Moresuke* ? *sees store* Ah, just what I need- supplies.
Sparrow walks into the store. There are few people inside of it. Everyone is wearing a cloak, and hood. People are mistrustful, and unfriendly. A (slightly) younger Gramp Sensei is shopping. Sparrow gets some supplies, pays for them, and is about to leave. Also, Ekura is in charge of the cash register thing.
Big Man W/Fancy Cloak: *enters store, with several guys trailing behind him* Hey, Ekura. ;) I'm not busy tonight, wanna go out with me? ;D
Ekura: Not till the village freezes over, Hito.
Hito (Big Man W/Fancy Cloak): Now Ekura, my father runs this loser town. That means two things: 1) When the weather gets cold enough, my father could make you stupid villagers freeze the town, and 2) I'm very influential... and pretty girls look good in strong men's shadows.
Ekura: You sexist pig!
Hito: Sticks and stones will break my bones, but words will never hurt me.
Ekura: You...!
Hito: *grabs her arm* I think it's in your best interests to go out with me tonight, and maybe tomorrow night too. Who knows, maybe I'll make you marry me!
Ekura: *cries, struggles to get out of his grip*
Gekkou: *bursts into room* Let go of my sister! *rushes towards Hito*
Hito: *knocks him down and laughs* Oh look, Ekura! A little protector! *prepares to start kicking Gekkou*
Sparrow: Enough! You people! *glares at villagers* Are you just going to watch?! What kind of people are you?! *glares at Hito, and moves towards him* And you, your the worst of the lot. You can't even fight fair, you attack little children, and defenseless women! I have half a mind to show you how I feel!
Hito: Boys. *Hito's possy moves to protect him*
Sparrow: I see how it is! Hiding behind others? I'll take you all down!
A scuffle ensues. Sparrow does well, considering his circumstances, but gets beat up. Hito is about to administer a beating, but Gramp Sensei steps in.
Gramp Sensei: So, you will fight him- after your little friends get him beaten and on the ground. You're just a bully Hito- always have been, always will be.

Hito: Why I outta...
Gramp Sensei: *laughs* But you won't, because I'm not on the ground.
Hito: *gets angry*
Gramp Sensei: This young man here- what's your name?-
Sparrow: -Sparrow-
Gramp Sensei: -Sparrow, will fight you, and your little army, in two days, in the square.
Hito: Psh. It's on!
Sparrow: What are you doing?
Gramp Sensei: Don't worry. You'll be ready to face them.
Sparrow: ?
Gramp Sensei: Come with me to my home. You'll rest there tonight.
Hito: *Hito and company leave*
Ekura: Thank you so much, Sparrow! *gives him a kiss*
Gekkou: That was pretty cool, how you fought all of them! Even though they beat you up.
Sparrow: Gee, thanks. -.-
Gramp Sensei: Come now! We need to get you in bed, so you can rest up for a hard day of training tomorrow!
Sparrow (to Ekura): I'll find you after this whole mess blows over!

Scene 2 (Next day)
The next day... birds are singin, it's sunny out. Sparrow and Gramps Sensei are out in his yard.
Gramp Sensei: You fight good kid. How do you know what you know?
Sparrow: My guardian, Koraga, taught me how to fight like the military soldiers.
Gramp Sensei: I see. We have a good foundation, but your going to have to learn some new tricks- mainly how to fight dirty, and how to fight a group of people.
Sparrow: Uh... ok.
Training Montage
Sparrow: *walks into town square, looking confident*
Hito: This is gonna be fun.
Battle ensues. Sparrow shows off new moves, street fighting moves! He wins the fight.
Sparrow: And stay down!
Hito: *groaning*
Mysterious Clapping Guy: *claps* Congratulations.
Sparrow: ?
Mysterious Clapping Guy: You defeated my son, and his friends. Good job!
Sparrow: !
Hito's Father (Mysterious Clapping Guy): Yes, I am his father. I am the ruler of this village. I am Teragobu Mifhujya.
Sparrow: So?
Teragobu Mifhujya: It's time for you to leave now. You've had your fun, now leave before you upset the balance of life here.
Gramp Sensei (To Sparrow): You have to stay! This man is evil! He must be defeated!
Teragobu Mifhujya: Police, escort our friend out of town. And make sure he leaves.
Police Guy 1: No.

Teragobu Mifhujya: What?!
Police Guy 2: He said no!
Police Guy 3: We're sick of doing your dirty work.
Villager 1: How did he get in charge?!
Atana Sensei: The time is ripe for revolution! Down with Teragobu!
Scene fades as everyone mobs Teragobu.

Scene 3 (Present)
Sparrow: We liberated the city that day... Anyways... I only have three days to prepare to face Sanyuta.
Gramp Sensei: We taught you how to fight dirty in one.

Scene 4 (Time skip)
Sparrow and Gramps are in the forest. There are bulls-eyes, etc, set up as a training area.
Gramp Sensei: What exactly do you need to improve?
Sparrow: Everything. Speed, stamina, accuracy... all of it.
Gramp Sensei: You understand we only have three days? I know you're a fast learner, but Sanyuta sounds powerful.
Time skip/Montage. Two days later.
Gramp Sensei: You've really improved, but you still need a secret weapon, some sort of trick. Whenever you enter a fight, think of these things- 1) Who are you fighting? 2) Where are you fighting? 3) Why are you fighting? 4) How are you fighting? Now, if you can answer all of these questions, you can usually devise a near fool proof strategem.
Sparrow: I'm fighting Sanyuta. He knows his way around several weapons. His body's movement is slow, because of strong armor, but he can move his weapons quick. We are fighting in Datte- er, Kachigoru. He will have the support of the city with him. I am fighting because he is forcing me to. He defeated me once, and he will hunt me down if I don't return. I plan to try and hit him hard and fast, using my shoto, to pierce the weak points in his armor.
Gramp Sensei: You're screwed. You hardly have a chance, and even if you win, they'll catch you anyways. Obviously, some of these factors need to change...
A little bit later-
Sparrow: I'll force him to come after me, in the desert. I'll get Manik, the blacksmith, to create some desert fighting gear. Sanyuta's weight will be against him in the dunes. And, I have an idea for a nifty trap. If he's coming after me, that also gives me more time to train.

Showdown at Sundown! The Desert Battlefield!

Act 1, Scene 1 (Eji's Caravan)
Sanyuta rides up to Eji's caravan, passing through the desert.

Sanyuta: I am Sanyuta, son of the ruler of Kachigoru! Have you seen this man?! *pulls out poster of Sparrow*
Eji: Uh, why do you ask?
Sanyuta: He is my rival! I must defeat him. He promised to meet me back in my home town, but he fled like a coward.
Eji: I-I had him with us several days ago. We sent him off in the direction of Yugaru. *points away from Moresuke*
Sanyuta: Thank you, honorable host. *leaves*
Eji: I must warn that guy... he was really beat up when we got him.

Scene 2 (Moresuke)
Eji heads towards Moresuke. Sanyuta pops out from behind a sand dune, smiling. He rides off, after Eji's caravan. Sparrow is waiting in a stretch of desert. He sees Eji.
Sparrow: Eji!
Eji: You! There's a man after you, name of Sanyuta?
Sparrow: He moves fast...
Sanyuta: *enters scene* Thank you, for leading me to my rival. And now, we battle!

Scene 3 (Battle)
Really long, grueling battle. Sparrow is dressed in his 'desert battle gear'. He is dressed in what looks like rags, and his head, except for his eyes, is covered. Sanyuta is dressed in his traditional Samurai uniform, with his armor on. He puts on his mask when they begin fighting. The battle is very back and forth, with Sanyuta dominating at first. As the battle progresses, Sanyuta tires, and Sparrow, who's gear is very light, begins to gain the upper hand. Sparrow has already taken some damage from Sanyuta, who is fighting with chains. When the chains hit Sparrow, they are sometimes weakened by hitting the sand, which aids Sparrow's dodging. Without armor, Sparrow has taken much more damage at this point in the battle. Sanyuta, who's finally had enough of Sparrow's speed, and is very hot and slow in his armor, ditches his armor. He takes a lot of blows from Sparrow at first, but, after he's used to it, begins to regain the upper hand. At this point, Sparrow reveals his secret weapon. He has several charges, set up in dunes around a flat area, surrounded by dunes. The bombs blew sand inwards, everywhere. Sanyuta can't see, and the sand is painful for him. Sparrow's outfit protects him, but he is also blinded. He hides and strikes out from the sand dunes that are everywhere now. As he is about to claim victory over Sanyuta, a sand storm strikes. Sanyuta escapes, and Eji brings Sparrow back to Moresuke.

Scene 4 (Moresuke)
Eji: *brings Sparrow to Moresuke* I really should get back to my caravan now...
Sparrow: Thank you so much, Eji. You deserve to know who I really am. Atsura, my friend, told you his name was Mogareus, but that is just one of his aliases.
Eji: Why would he lie...?
Sparrow: Because he was afraid you would turn us in. My name is Sparrow, and I am the leader of the Ameyura!
Eji: What?! You're kidding!

Sparrow: No, I am Sparrow.
Eji: … I've heard from everyone that Sparrow is a terrorist, or a hero. I didn't know which. But after seeing you in action, I have decided that you are indeed a hero. It has been my honor to be around you. But now, I must leave.
Sparrow: Farewell Eji, and remember, you will always have friends... *kisses her*  …and more, in Moresuke. Just tell them you are a friend of Sparrow, and that he told you that his first friend in Moresuke was Gramp Sensei.
Eji: *dazed* Uh, ok.

Scene 5 (Kachigoru)
SSanyuta is riding back to Kachigoru.
Sanyuta: *laughes* At last! My true rival proves himself. I was afraid that he would disappoint me again! But he is clever, and he bested me, in the desert! Next time, I will win! All I need, is my own secret trap.

Sanyuta's Samurai- Slicer and Weaponist

Act 1, Scene 1 (?)
Sanyuta is sitting at a table in a dark room. He is talking with some shadowy figure seated at the other end of the table. The other person has several sheathes of swords slung on their chair.
Sanyuta: Slicer. I want you to join me. There will be a large reward, when we defeat Sparrow. He has a network of allies. I need the same to defeat him.
Slicer: What's in it for me?
Sanyuta: I just said. You get a large reward, straight from the Prince.
Slicer: Please. I want something more than that. I want interesting enemies!
Sanyuta: There will be plenty of those.
Slicer: I suppose... I don't have anything better to do.

Scene 2 (Same Day, Different City)
Slicer and Sanyuta are walking into a new town.
Slicer: Why are we here? Everyone knows Ragu is a boring town!
Sanyuta: That's because the crime lords rule. They have a huge illegal export business. They are supplied with new weapons by someone who calls himself the Weaponist. We're here to recruit him.
Slicer: He'd better be cool, I can't run with a bunch of fuddy-duddys.
Sanyuta: -.-
Sanyuta and Slicer: *walk into city*
Sanyuta: From what I've heard, the Weaponist works in his own shop, beneath the crime lords fortress.
Slicer: Sounds like fun, to break into!
Sanyuta: I'm having second thoughts about recruiting you.

They've been walking the entire time. They soon spot the crime lord's fortess.
Sanyuta: Now, start digging. *tosses Slicer a shovel*
Slicer: What?!
Sanyuta: The Weaponist has tunnels crisscrossing the city. I figure there should be some near here... besides, you said you wanted to have fun, imagine popping up from above the roof?
Slicer: Fine... *starts digging*

Scene 3 (Tunnels)
They break through the ground/roof of the tunnels.
Sanyuta and Slicer: *drop down* Whoa! *Sanyuta falls on his face*
Slicer: *laughs*
Sanyuta: *stands up, glares at Slicer* Be quiet!
Weaponist: Excuse me?
Sanyuta and Slicer: *look around, realize they're in the Weaponist's workshop*
Sanyuta: Aha!
Weaponist: Why are you here? I think I'll call for some guards...
Sanyuta: No! Wait, let me explain!
Weaponist: Very well.
Sanyuta: I'm here to recruit you!
Weaponist: I already have a job, thank you very much.
Sanyuta: But I. Am. Hunting. Sparrow.
Weaponist: Sparrow? Of the Ameyura?
Slicer: Yeah!
Sanyuta: Shut it, Slicer. Listen, if you help us, we'll make it worth your while. Really worth it. My funding comes from Kachigoru, which comes straight from the top.
Weaponist: You mean the Prince?
Sanyuta: *nods*
Weaponist (talking to self): If I had funding from the Prince, I could retrieve rare materials for my weapons... I could make brand new items, I could upgrade the whole shop! Alright, I've made up my mind. I will come with you.
The Weaponist, Slicer, and Sanyuta leave through one of the Weaponist's secret tunnels.
Weaponist: I have several small weapon staches in the larger cities. Where are we headed next?
Sanyuta: We're going to Rayuchi.
Weaponist and Slicer: Rayuchi?!
Weaponist: Oh no! That city's chaotic!
Slicer (at same time as Weaponist): Yes! That city's chaotic!
Sanyuta: Were we're headed it isn't.
Weaponist: *relieved*
Slicer: *disapointed*
Sanyuta: Where we're going, there is a being who calls himself the Brain. He has carved himself out an orderly chunk of the city.
Slicer: I've been there, on vacation. That wouldn't have been easy.
Sanyuta: The Brain is, well, his name speaks for himself.

Slicer: Ya know, this episode has been pretty boring. Even the Armistice episode was more exciting.
Sanyuta and Weaponist: Huh? What are you talking about?
Slicer: Nothing...

Sanyuta's Samurai- The Brain

Act 1, Scene 1 (Rayuchi)
Continued from Sanyuta's Samurai – Slicer and Weaponist. Sanyuta's group is getting near Rayuchi, identified by a dilipadated sign. There are all sorts of chaotic activities going on, like fires, etc, visible from outside the city. There's a lot of yelling.
Weaponist: I don't have weapons hidden here...
Slicer: I love this place.
Sanyuta: We're here to get the Brain, then we leave. He's in the only orderly place in this blasted city.
Weaponist: What's the plan?
Slicer: We should just cut our way to him!
Sanyuta: We're going to set up an appointment, with his secretary.
Slicer and Weaponist: *Stares*
Sanyuta: Just follow me.
What followed was an extremely chaotic trip through the city, with all sorts of wild stuff happening, and the group has to fight people off several times. They eventually make it to a wall, which is fairly tall, too tall to climb. They walk up to a man, in a sentry's station, in the wall. He is next to a gate.
Sentry: Halt!
Slicer: Whatever you say, bub.
Sentry: You! Shut up!
Slicer: Hurtful....
Sanyuta: I would like to request entrance to the Rayuchi capital.
Sentry: Come back in one day, and I will let you in.
Sanyuta: (sceptically): Just like that?
Sentry: Well, there is a small fee... but the real challenge is surviving a day in the city. *smirks* See you tomorrow... if you make it.
Sanyuta's Samurai: !
Sentry: Now get out of here!
Sanyuta's Samurai leave, then wander around.
Weaponist: Where should we stay?
Slicer: I think we shouldn't stop, if we stop they'll catch us.
Sanyuta: No, I think we need a place to rest. We need to find a house somewhere.
Slicer: How about that one! *points to a really ugly, broken down house*
Weaponist: I think that one's better... *points to a nice, sparkling house*
Sanyuta: Slicer, I'm sorry to go with the Weaponist again, he's not my favorite, I promise!

Sanyuta's Samurai are all inside of the house.
Sanyuta: *look outside window* It's getting dark.
Slicer: The loons come out of the woodwork at night.
Weaponist: You mean the people we saw today weren't crazy?!
Slicer: Nah, they were actually pretty tame.
Sanyuta: Weaponist, Slicer, go check the doors and windows.
Weaponist and Slicer: On the double!

Scene 2 (Nighttime)
There are a lot of banging noises.
Weaponist: *runs into main room* They broke through the back door!
Sanyuta: Slicer! Get down here!
Slicer: *jumps down stairs* Here!
Sanyuta: These lunatic people are everywhere! We've got to stand our ground, it's worse on the streets!
Slicer: Ya know what's weird, is you're talking about people, and we actually haven't seen any.
A bunch of lunatics burst into the room. They are wearing masks, and facepaint. They act really crazy.
Slicer: Oh... well. Here they are. My brothers!
Lunatics: Hey, man!
Lunatics: Sorry, but, boss says we gotta kill you.
Slicer: It's ok, dudes. I understand. You understand I have to kill you back?
Lunatics: Yeah, we're pretty excited.
Battle scene commences. Really fluid, and intense. Culminates with Sanyuta's Samurai bursting through the main room window.
Slicer: Wow. We're alive. I'm surprised.
Weaponist: We're doomed!
Sanyuta: Calm down! We're going with Slicer's earlier idea. We're going to stay on the move till morning.

Scenes 3(-5 million. Or whatever.)
Sanyuta's Samurai run through the streets, down allies, etc. They fight off opponents until morning, when they collapse and sleep. They are woken up early by a group of crazies. They fight them off, working together as a team well, throughout this whole ordeal they make it back to the Sentry.
Sentry: Ah, so you actually made it back.
Sanyuta: Let us in!
Sentry: Pay our fee.
Sanyuta: Here's a bag of gold. Just take it, I don't care if it's too much.
Sentry: I suppose it's enough. *opens gate* Welcome to the capital of Rayuchi!

Sanyuta's Samurai- The Acrobat
Continued directly from Sanyuta's Samurai – The Brain.

Act 1, Scene 1 (Rayuchi Capital)
Sanyuta's Samurai are walking through a mansion. An aide walks up to them.
Aide: The Brain is right this way.
Sanyuta: Thank you. *tosses coin*
Aide: Oh, oh! Thank you! *catches coin*
Sanyuta: *knocks on big fancy door*
Big Fancy Door: *opens*
Person: Who's there?
Sanyuta: Sanyuta, heir of the Kachyu, liege to the Prince, the hunter of the Sparrow.
Person: Sparrow... the Ameyura leader?
Slicer: Yeah!
Sanyuta: He is my rival, and the Prince is offering a large reward to get him. I'm here to recruit you, to my team of Samurai.
Person: Ah, so you've heard of me... the Brain.
Sanyuta: Yup. So, how does it sound?
Brain (Person): Very... futile. For me that is, to go with you. All of the work I've done here would go to waste! This island of order, would sink into the sea of chaos that is everywhere.
Sanyuta: Can't you leave someone in charge?
Brain: Fool! I can't just leave some pauper off the street in charge of this precariously balanced place!
Sanyuta: I need your help. Don't you want to defeat a strong enemy. Listen, if you help me, I will personally lead troops, from the Prince, here, under your command, to restore order.
Brain: *sigh* I suppose... with the imperial army, my plans would go so much quicker and smoother. Fine, fine I will come with you.
Slicer: Is that everyone?
Sanyuta: Actually, there is one more.

Scene 2 (Eji's Caravan? Maybe!)
Scene change. Sanyuta's Samurai are walking up to what looks suspiciously like Eji's Caravan. There is a circus tent set up.
Sanyuta: Our last member is here, at the circus! *laughs*
Rest of Sanyuta's Samurai: *stare*
Sanyuta: *coughs* Anyways. He's an acrobat.
Slicer: Let's watch the show, while we wait!
Weaponist: Yeah!
Sanyuta: -.- Whatever.

Scene 3 (Circus)
They watch the Circus. They enter the Acrobat's room after it's over.
Acrobat: Hey, hey, my adoring fans!
Slicer: You men are so full of yourselves.

Weaponist and Brain: Yeah, pretty much.
Acrobat: Hey... you're not my fan club!
Brain: Very astute.
Weaponist: Hey, don't call him names!
Sanyuta: *flicks his hand in a “be quiet” sort of gesture* Mr. Acrobat-
Acrobat: -I have a name-
Sanyuta: Mr. Acrobat- - I'm here to give you an offer. You can either stay here, with this lame circus, or come with me, and see the country! We're a noble group of heroes, who are hunting the dangerous Sparrow!
Acrobat: Is there a reward?
Sanyuta: Yeah! A large one, from the Prince!
Acrobat: The Prince, huh? Ok, I'm in!

Scene 4 (Leaving the Circus)
Sanyuta's Samurai, fully assembled at last, ride off.

Scene 5 (Moresuke)
The Ameyura are sitting around a table, like in Led Away. They are discussing recent events.
Atana: Do you think you beat Sanyuta for the last time?
Sparrow: I doubt it. He keeps coming back. The first time, I nearly killed him.
Atana: It would seem that you've gotten over having to hurt good people.
Sparrow: After seeing Koraga, I've realized I have to do whatever it takes. They didn't regret killing us at the Citadel, so I won't regret hurting them. Besides, everything the Prince touches becomes evil eventually...
Atsura: What are we going to do when he returns?
Sparrow: So far, he doesn't even know I'm here. But if he does find me, I'll have all of you with me... he doesn't have a chance. He chooses to stand alone, and that's always been, and will be, his mistake.

Scene 6 (Traveling)
Sanyuta: You traveled with Eji's, correct?
Acrobat: Yup!
Sanyuta: Do you know where they brought Sparrow- er, the guest you had a little while ago?
Acrobat: We brought him to Moresuke!
Sanyuta: Did you hear that? We are going to stop by one of the Weaponists stockpiles, then we are headed to Moresuke!

Sanyuta's Samurai- Put To The Test, Assembled At Last!!
Continued from Sanyuta's Samurai- The Acrobat.

Act 1, Scene 1 (Samurai Riding)
The samurai are riding, on what appears to be a nice road, but they are stopped by a group of military police.
Military Cop: What are you doing here? This road is for the Prince's Soldiers only!
Sanyuta: Are you kidding me?! *starts to get angry*
Brain (to Sanyuta): Play it cool...
Military Cop: Yeah, actually I was. But seriously, the Prince is cracking down on random travelers. Where are you headed, and why?
Brain (to Samurai): Interesting, the Prince is really intent on catching Sparrow if he's placing random check people like him. *gestures to cops* I bet they are completely randomly placed. We don't have the resources to cover the country, not in a war.
Military Cop: Well?
Sanyuta: I am an agent of the Prince. I am hunting Sparrow, under his orders.
Slicer (to Samurai): I thought that Sanyuta only got Sparrow if he was in Kachigoru?
Brain (to Slicer): Those were the original terms of the treaty. Sanyuta is just saying that so he'll leave us alone.
Military Cop: Really? I was told that the search for Sparrow was a national effort, so do you care to divulge where you're headed?
Sanyuta: *grits teeth* It's a secret, if I tell you the Prince's plans for Sparrow will fail.
Military Cop: Oh really? I was told that we are to share any and all pieces of information. You don't sound legitimate, who's your commanding office? Let's see some identification!
Sanyuta: Okay dokey. *stabs cop*
Samurai: Wow, that was cold.
Sanyuta: He was in the way.
Other Cops: Hey! What's wrong with- oh my gosh, blood!
Sanyuta: Get ready for the rest.
Cops: What did you do? Is he dead?!
Sanyuta: See for yourselves. *throws body at group of cops*
Cop: Ew!
Slicer: Disgusting!
Samurai: *stare*
Slicer: Just cuz I'm crazy doesn't mean I throw dead bodies at people!
Weaponist: That was a little gross.
Sanyuta: Let's get em!
Samurai: “Get em”?
Sanyuta: Charge?
Samurai: *roll eyes*
Sanyuta: Attack! Sick em! Fight! Whatever, just kill them!
Cops: You, you wanna kill us? *one of them cries* You're so mean!
Sanyuta: *rolls eyes* (to Samurai) Please?
Samurai: We suppose... *attacks cops, fights, wins*

Scene 2 (Traveling, Same)

The Samurai continue riding. The point of the fight scene was to show them working together well.
Weaponist: We're nearing Mera, I have a stash of weapons there, in a safe house where we can rest.
Sanyuta: Good. We'll rest there, arm ourselves, and go after Sparrow in the morning. For some reason, I feel like you guys do whatever you want.
Samurai: Were you still talking?
Sanyuta: It would be just my luck to form a crack team of warriors, and they all ignore me...
Samurai: (to each other) Seriously, why is he still talking?!
Sanyuta: Cuz I'm the leader here!
Samurai: Dude, calm down.
Sanyuta: I- You- Ug...
Samurai: (to each other) What's his problem?
Scene change, to outside of Mera.
Weaponist: My stash house is right over here.
Slicer: *giggles* Stash house...
Weaponist: What would you call it?!
Slicer: I don't know, I carry my swords with me?! Wanna see? >:)
Weaponist: We're here!
Sanyuta's Samurai arm themselves, then rest.

Act 2, Scene 1 (Moresuke)
Atsura is playing outside (seen through a window) with a group of children. Sparrow is sitting at a table with Imeda and Atana.
Imeda: Don't you have a house?
Sparrow: Well...
Atana: Don't mind her, she's still mad at you for dumping Ekura like that.
Sparrow: But  that was several years ago!
Atana: She didn't know that's what happened, until Ekura came over the other day.
Imeda: *leaves*
Sparrow: Anyways, you wanted to talk to me?
Atana: Yes. Jyakuge wrote about the state of things outside Moresuke.
Sparrow: *leans forward* What does he say?
Atana: The Prince is importing some important guest, to live in the capital. They arrive in a couple weeks. There is a nationwide effort to catch you, but that's nothing new, eh? Zen Arugunta is gaining power amongst the nobles, there is even talk of him being Irakura's successor. And, lastly, but most importantly, Irakura and his court have been recieveing letters from Sanyuta.
Sparrow: What?!
Atana: I knew that would be your reaction. Sanyuta was requesting money, to reward members of a team that he's deemed “Sanyuta's Samurai”. They are apparantly close to finding you, but refuse to divulge where you are.
Sparrow: He made a team... why wouldn't he tell them where I am?

Atana: He probably doesn't want the military interfering. It would appear he has some honor.
Sparrow: Sanyuta's Samurai... I wonder if they're any good?

Finally!! Sanyuta's Samurai Meet The Ameyura!!

Act 1, Scene 1 (Multiple Areas)
Sanyuta's Samurai, fully armed, are riding from Mera, and fast. The people in Moresuke, Including the Ameyura, are resting and sauntering about. There is Sparrow, Atsura, and about two dozen Ameyura. The Samurai are all dressed similar, in blue and reds, and they each receive a mask.
Slicer: Five versus twenty-six? I like those odds.
Weaponist: Does the Brain have a plan?
Brain: Of course.
Sanyuta: Well?
Brain: *whispers stuff to the Samurai* Got it?
Samurai: Yeah!

Scene 2 (Moresuke)
The Samurai disperse, to enact the Brain's plan. Only Sanyuta and Brain walk up the main road, where the Ameyura are waiting.
Sanyuta: Only two dozen helpers?
Sparrow: Sanyuta's Samurai is made up of two people?
Sanyuta: Touche.
Sparrow: Is this it? No brilliant challenges to one on one battle?
Sanyuta: No,. I'm just going to beat you this time.
Sparrow: How will you do that, when I have two dozen men? *turns around*
One and a half dozen of Sparrow's men are gone.
Sparrow: What the hey?
Sanyuta: You pulled a similar trick the first time we tangled, if you remember.
Sparrow: *grits teeth*
Sanyuta: Slicer, Weaponist!
The said Samurai reveal themselves, behind Sparrow's men.
Sanyuta: Eight versus five... I like those odds.

Scene 3 (Battle in Moresuke)
Battle commences. Slicer and Weaponist fights the six men together, while Brain and Sanyuta takes on Sparrow and Atsura.

Sparrow: I know I'm your rival, but why are you still battling me?!
Sanyuta: Because, you defeated me! Twice!
Sparrow: I thought honorable men like you stopped when the victor was decided!
Sanyuta: Only when fighting honorable men! Which you are not! You defeated me through trickery in the desert!
Sparrow: And you came back with an army!
Sanyuta: To face off against your army!
Sparrow: Please just leave me alone! *enraged*
Sanyuta: I can't! The Prince wants you dead!
Sparrow: Is that all you are?! The Prince's Slave?!
Sanyuta: I would be honored if that was all I was! The Prince is a hero! And you will never understand! You are trying to destroy his hard work, you are trying to usurp him, you are trying to destroy Norea!
Sparrow: You're the one who doesn't understand! The Prince is a liar! You can't trust him! He only cares for himself...
Sanyuta: I can't convince you.
Sparrow: Or I you.
Sanyuta: So that means-
Both: I have to kill you.

Act 2, Scene 1 (Battle in Moresuke)
Battle continues, with increased intensity. Finally, Sparrow breaks Sanyuta's sword.
Sparrow: It's over! *prepares to deal final blow*
Sanyuta: No... no! *pulls out another weapon, a small chain, from behind his chestplate, hits Sparrow in the chest*
Sparrow: Ah! *crack rib*
Sanyuta: It's not over yet! *starts beating Sparrow with the small chain*
Sparrow: Rah! *stabs Sanyuta*
Sanyuta: Gasp! *gush blood*
Samurai: Boss! *leave battles, rush to his side*
Sanyuta: (gasping for breath) It's... not... over... yet... *passes out*
Samurai: We'll be back. *leave with Sanyuta*
Atsura: What are we going to do?
Sparrow: We're not letting them get away like that, they'll just be back again. We're going after them.
Atsura: How many should we take?
Sparrow: Get who ever can leave within the next half hour... we're not letting them get away...

Scene 2 (Traveling)
Switch to Sanyuta and co.
Slicer: *bandages Sanyuta* Am I doing this because I'm the only girl?
Others: Yeah, pretty much.
Slicer: *chucks bandages at Weaponist, knocks him out*
Slicer: Wake him up, we need to get going!

Brain and Acrobat: Wakey wakey...

Two of the Ameyura leave, and take him away.

Atsura: Over here! These tracks show them heading this way.
Sparrow: That's good enough for me. Let's go! *Ameyura leave*

Scene 2 (Samurai)
Slicer: Brain?
Brain: Yes?
Slicer: You know a lot about medicine.
Brain: Yes I do. Your point?
Slicer: Do you think Sanyuta will survive?
Brain: Maybe. He's extremely resilient, but he was wounded badly. He lost a lot of blood in Moresuke.
Slicer: I hope he makes it. He has the funnest jobs.

Scene 3 (Sparrow)

Brain: They've caught up!
Weaponist: I still have a few explosives!

Sparrow: We can dig our way through! Quickly now!

Scene 4 (Samurai)
Brain: Faster!
Acrobat: We should stand and fight!
Weaponist: We're too out numbered! We wouldn't stand a chance!
Brain: Our only chance is to ride!
Slicer: This is so boring! It's worse than a filler episode!
Samurai: Huh?
Slicer: Nothing.

Scene 5 (Sparrow)
Sparrow: Keep going! Today is our day! Nothing can stop us!

Scene 6 (Samurai)
Brain: There is a small town coming up! There should be police. We can use their help. It's our last chance.

Samurai: *run away*
Sparrow: Time to go home.
