Volume 3 - Chase

Chase

Scene 1, Grand Plaza
The Prince: People, i've called You hear to bring You the best news! We've captured Sparrow!
[Huge Cheers]
The Prince: He will be executed, in two days time! Right here in the Plaza! It will be the end of all Our troubles! With Sparrow gone, there will be no more terrorist assaults! There will be no more rebellions! Everything will be bright!
[Crowd Cheers]

Scene 2, The Throne-room
[Sparrow is chained to a throne-like chair in the middle of the throne-room. The Nobles haven't arrived, so it's just him and Irakura.]
Sparrow: So... this is it...
The Prince: I've finally captured You... it's all over...
Sparrow: Not quite.
Irakura: Huh?!
[One of the walls explodes, and Sparrow's crew rushes in, as Irakura calls in samurai. The samurai chase Sparrow, who's forced to separate from his men while escaping the Palace.]
Irakura: Find him!
Kasupe: *enters the room* What-?
Irakuta: He escaped...
[Exit Kasupe]

Scene 3, Canon's Apartment
Canon: Kasupe's just told me that Sparrow's escaped.
Koiki: What?!
Canon: Uh huh.
Atsura: So are we...?
Canon: Yeah. Last time we messed up, since Irakura got to him first. We need to get him first, so we can turn him in to Chief Soto. Let's go! He's separated from his men, so he's alone, and his men are leaderless! We need one or the other.

Scene 4, The Police Station
[The Chief is sitting behind his desk.]
Police Officer: Chief! Sparrow's escaped!
Soto: What?! Tell everyone we're chasing after him immediately! Get ready, let's go!
[Exit Officer]
Canon: *enters without anyone seeing him* Chief, let's work together... I intend to honor our arrangement.
Chief Soto: Good, good... I suppose we can work together. Are You ready to leave? I'm leaving now.
Canon: I am. My people are searching for Sparrow's men, me and You can look for him.

Scene 5, The Streets of the Capitol
Sparrow (to self): I told my people that we'd meet up at the storage silos and destroy them... so I suppose I need to get there quickly! [takes off running]

Scene 6, The Rooftops
Canon: Chief, we can't just chase after Sparrow, we have to get ahead of him. Where do You think he'll strike next?
Soto: What makes You think he'll attack?
Canon: He's not gonna lay low. He'll attack quickly, because he wants to show The Prince's wrong about being safe. He has a chance to destroy hope here.
Soto: Ah... I see... very well. Where can he do the most damage to the people? A public place?
Canon: No... thats a place he can be easily caught... are there other places?
Soto: Maybe the food silos... yes! That's it! It's a symbol of plenty, and it's a very needed thing! They tower over the skyline, so if they're destroyed, it'll be a really big deal!
Canon: That makes sense, and there's nothing else to go off of, so let's go there.

Scene 7, The Roads
[Sparrow's group is running, and when Atsura spots them, they pursue them. It degenerates into a chase. Sparrow's men run away from the silo, to buy him time]

Scene 8, The Silos
Sparrow: *sets explosives at the base of one of the food silos*
Canon and Soto: Stop!
Sparrow: No...!
[Canon, Sparrow, and Soto fight. Canon wins because he has an ally.]
Canon: He's all Yours. I dont want to see him ever again.

Scene 9, The Throne-Room
Irakura: Chief, do You have Sparrow?
Chief Soto: ...No.

Volume 3 - Release

Release

Scene 1, Canon's Apartment
Canon: We're taking Sparrow down, personally, if it comes to that.

Scene 2, Prison Block
[The prison gates explode, one after another, and prisoners pour out. Sparrow is across the road, smiling.]

Scene 3, The Throne-Room
The Prince: Sparrow has destroyed many prisons. There are now prisoners spilling out all across the capitol. I've also just received word that Sparrow is planning on destroying the military headquarters, unless I return the capitol to it's pre-terrorism state. This is unacceptable. I. Will. Have. Sparrow! I will be leading my own group of elite samurai to track him down, since the police and stationed military troops are completely overwhelmed with the prisoners.
[Irakura leaves, with a group of samurai]

Scene 4, Canon's Apartment
Canon: Alright, let's go. The officials are totally tied up with the prisoners, so it's up to Us! Kasupe's told me that Sparrow's planning to destroy the military headquarters. So we'll start by scouring the military complex.
[Canon leaves with his group]

Scene 5, The Edge of the Military Complex
Sparrow: Are the bombs in place?
Maru: Yeah. But why are we attacking here? You said we would, so why are we actually here? Isn't it foolish to tip them off like that?
Sparrow: Every now and then, I like to do what I threaten. In this case, it'll be highly destructive.
Maru: Should I set the bombs now?
Sparrow: Hm... sure.
[Exit Maru]
Sparrow: After this, The Prince will HAVE to obey me!

Scene 6, The Headquarters
Maru: *lights explosives*
Canon: *kicks the torch out of his hands then grabs him and lifts him up* Would You care to point me to Sparrow??
[A distance away, Sparrow is notching an arrow to kill Irakura.]
Sparrow: Sorry I had to use You as bait... but now i've got him...
Irakura: Correct. I've got him.
[Sparrow turns around, stunned. He attacks Irakura, but Irakura beats him up.]
Irakura: *smirks* I win.

Volume 3 - Closer

Closer

*Cut through multiple scenes quickly with Irakura's voice interspersed*
[A group of kids are out at night, and a group of police walk up to them, and the kids run off, scared]
Irakura: A curfew-
[Some people are walking through a checkpoint, where they're searched, and asked where they're going, and why]
Irakura: Additional checkpoints-
[Chief Soto is seen in front of many more police then previously seen]
Irakura (in the palace Throne-Room): And many more police. I only have one more precaution against Sparrow.

Scene 2, The Grand Plaza
Irakura: I have a deal, for Canon! I will grant You amnesty, and will reward You, if You bring me Sparrow!
Crowd of People: *interested chatter*
The Prince: that goes for anyone! I will give the one who brings me Sparrow whatever they want, up to an entire city!

Scene 3, Canon's apartment
Atsura: Are You going to take his deal?
Canon: Sparrow may be the worse of two evils, but Irakura's still evil. I'm not taking any deal he makes. Besides, I already have a deal with our friend, Chief Soto...

Scene 4, Sparrow's Hideout
Sparrow: *slams a fist into the wall, made of brick* AGGHH! They've caught Yaba?
Maru: Yeah. They almost got me too!
Sparrow: Ugh! The Prince is really closing in on us now... it;s getting hard to do anything now. We have to do something to show them We're still in control, even if We're really not.
Maru: What?
Sparrow: *wicked grin*
[Suddenly, a bunch of police burst in. Sparrow and his men are forced to flee.]

Scene 5, A New Base of Sparrow's
Sparrow: We can't even stay in the same place... I know... we'll strike at the police!

Scene 6, Outside a Warehouse
[Chief Soto leads a group of police into the warehouse, which explodes a moment later]

Scene 7, Sparrow's New Base
Sparrow: We'll kill the Chief. He should be dead, right about now! *laughs*

Scene 8, Canon's Apartment
Canon: I was content to watch things develop until now. But now, Sparrow's attacked our friend Chief Soto. I won't stand for this. We're going after him personally, instead of waiting for Irakura to draw his net slowly around him.

Volume 3 - Plagued

Plagued

Scene 1, The Palace Tower
[Irakura looks out on the city, from the palace tower, which has an awesome view, with gigantic floor to ceiling windows. He looks out, and notices small fires, carriages running amok, people running crazily, and stores closing.]
Irakura: The city's in a state of high paranoia... the smallest thing throws entire blocks into fear frenzies... something has to be done about this... I won't let Sparrow win!

Scene 2, The Grand Plaza
[A large group of citizens are gathered at the Grand Plaza. Irakura is atop the podium, and there are several messengers to relay his words.]
Irakura (to crowd): People of Norea! Hear me now, or i'll kill You faster than Sparrow could! Rumors, dreadful rumors, have reached my ears. I hear that my people fear for their lives, because of a master terrorist, the infamous Sparrow! I'm hear to tell You, it's not that big of a deal! We can beat Sparrow, when we pull together and fight hard. To prove this point, I will be spending the remainder of this day right here, in the Grand Plaza. I DARE Sparrow to come after me. He'll be in for an unpleasant surprise! People! There's no need to fear!
Crowd: *cheers*
Random Guy: Maybe he's right...
Another Random: I hope. I can't take this anymore!
[Canon is at the back of the crowd, and, after hearing The Prince, leaves to his base]

Scene 3, Canon's Apartment
Canon: Did You all get Irakura's message?
Others: *nod*
Canon: Good. We're going to set up a perimeter around him, and protect him.
Koiki: What.
Canon: I understand this is a bit different-
Koiki (angrily): We're protecting The PRINCE?! Our number one enemy, and We're PROTECTING him?!
Canon: Listen to me. The Prince is NOT Our number one enemy. Sparrow is. Sparrow is currently a worse being than Irakura. Sparrow kills innocents, to simply make a point. He is, as Irakura has stated, a terrorist! He's creating terror, so he can knock down Irakura. Sparrow has allowed himself to be blinded, completely blinded, by his desire to defeat The Prince. The Prince isn't out there killing people to make people afraid right now. That's Sparrow. He's darker than Irakura right now, and he's let it happen to himself. We're going to either redeem him, or stop him before he slips lower. Understand?

Scene 4, Atop a building that helps form the Grand Plaza
[Maru is notching an arrow. Maru is one of Sparrow's men, and we know that because he was seen next to Sparrow in “Declaration”.]
Canon: *knocks the bow out of his hands and kicks him in the back, knocking him down* There's more on top of the other buildings! Go!
Others: *scatter to the buildings*
Canon: This can't be all Sparrow has planned...
[Canon takes a moment to survey the land from his vantage point, next to the unconscious Maru, and sees a flaming train of carriages coming down a street.]
Canon: Oh. Well.

Scene 5, The Train of Carriages
[Sparrow is in the front, laughing]
Sparrow: i've got You now! Hahaha!
[Suddenly, an arrow with a rope shoots down, diagonally, because it's from a window on a building on the side of the street, but the carriages rip right through it. Canon jumps out the window, landing on a carriage three back from the front]
Canon: *struggles to get a good stance, and slowly makes his way towards the front*
Sparrow: *spots Sparrow and growls angrily* I should've never brought You with Us! *unsheathes his sword then climbs up, and walks towards Canon*
Canon (seeing Sparrow walking towards him, through the flames): Am I..hallucinating? *shakes head, then reaches for his sword, and, finding his sheath empty, looks around for it, and sees it, stuck in a carriage behind him. Before he can turn around, Sparrow gets to his carriage*
Sparrow: *swings at Canon* time to repair my mistake!
Canon: *ducks*
Sparrow: *swings vertically* Die.
Canon: *dodges it, and the sword breaks through the roof, weakened from fire. He then slips into the carriage, and opens the side door, and starts to inch his way to another carriage, the last one, the front one*
Sparrow: *looks for Canon, jumps into the carriage, and sees he's escaped out a door* Come back here! So I can kill You! *swings out the door, and breaks the carriage, which collapses into a heap of junk, on wheels*
Canon: *steps onto the first carriage* What to do... *spots a braking lever* I suppose that'll do!
[He pulls the brake, but it's ineffective. He accidentally snaps it off. He uses the heavy metal bar to break the coupling connecting the first carriage to the others, then come up with a new plan. Sparrow, who'd been about to jump to the first carriage, instead falls to the ground.]
Sparrow: Traitor!!
[Canon steers the carriage wildly, knocking it over, and causing the others to detach and crash. They skid for a while, and stop a few yards from the edge of the crowd in the Plaza.]
Irakura: Look! We have thwarted what is surely another assassination attempt from Sparrow! He's made dozens of attempts today, all thwarted by Your faithful military, and honest people like You!

Scene 6, The Rooftops
Canon (to the others): Maru's escaped. Sparrow was gone by the time I made it back to where he fell. But. We succeeded in stopping Sparrow. Today could've been much worse. There were no deaths. That's a change for these people. A welcome change. What we're doing is right, and if any of You doubt that, You can leave.
Koiki: *sighs, then smiles* I see what You're talking about, Canon.

Scene 7, The Grand Plaza, at Twilight
Irakura: And that's the end of another glorious day in history. *stands up and leaves, smirking about his victory*

Volume 3 - Spreading

Spreading

*Cut through multiple people being assassinated*

[A man is walking on a street, then an arrow from a building across the road hits him in the back. He hits the ground, and the busy street freaks out]

[A noble is leaving a meeting, when several disguised men run up to him, and stab him]

[A soldier is exiting a train car, when it explodes]

[A young man is leaving a store with groceries, when he's shot in the back. The bag of groceries hits the ground, as does his body.]

[Sparrow kills an official outside of Canon's apartment. Canon looks out of the window, and leaves to follow Sparrow]

[Sparrow goes on a killing spree, shooting several people at a public fountain. The police chase after him, but he gets away]

[Canon watches as Sparrow sets a vending stall on fire, then as police chase after him again, Canon gets up and follows]

[Sparrow kills a police officer, outside of the police station. The Police Chief, Chief Soto, runs out after him, as Canon, who'd been watching from afar, goes after Sparrow. Sparrow ditches them at a fork in the road, and both of them run into each other.]
Chief Soto: You're Canon! I'm supposed to arrest You.
Canon: And I believe You're Chief Soto? Chief of police in the capitol?
Soto: Uh... yeah...
Canon: You're a good person. You know i'm not a villain, especially not one like Sparrow. You don't want to do this.
Soto: You're right... and I can tell You're not the type to totally disregard other people. How about We work together, instead of against each other? To catch Sparrow. I'll keep You and whoever You have accompanying You safe, to the best of my ability.
Canon: And if I catch Sparrow, i'll give him to You, provided You don't let anyone know You've got him. I believe in second chances, and if The Prince gets a hold of him, it'll be immediate execution.
Soto: Then We have a deal!
[Both shake hands, then part. Canon goes to his team, of nine, including himself]
Canon: Chief Soto is among our friends now. He's aware of our mission, and will be helping Us.
Atsura: To overthrow The Prince???
Canon: um... no... actually, it's to catch Sparrow. Because that is our prime objective right now.

Volume 3 - Declaration

The Capitol, at the Harbor
Irakura: Welcome, welcome all! *smirk* im so very pleased to see You all here. Today is the grand loading of the proud nation of Norea's newest warship, the Masterful!
Crowd: *patriotic cheering and clapping*
[Suddenly, the large captain's tower on the Masterful blows up, and another explosion inside the hull results in the ship sinking]
Crowd: *frenzied stampeding away and mobbing, etc, while screaming in fear*
[Another explosion goes off, this time at the base of a harbor guard tower. The explosion does no damage, and only serves to draw everyone's attention to the figure atop it]
Sparrow: Good day! *looks down at the crowd, then at Irakura* I see You've received my message. Hello, Irakura... it seems all fools need a king... *smirk* or a Prince.
Irakura: ….
[Irakura is standing on top of a stage type thing that's sitting on the harbor, with several guards standing behind him. One of those guards is clearly disturbed, and lunges at Irakura]
Irakura: *sidesteps and throws the Sparrow-sent guard into the crowd* This isn't over.. You think You can get away with this? You'll be done by the end of the week. At least. *smirk*
Sparrow: *swinging around a pole, laughs at Irakura* We'll see, my good friend. My BEST friend!
Irakura (to self): he seems off-balance... even Sparrow wouldn't do this... it seems he's finally snapped... ha!
Sparrow: Consider this Your warning; the real war starts tomorrow! And Your precious military will do nothing! They couldn't even stop the sinking of a brand-new warship! Losers, one and all! People! Look! Your precious Prince cannot save You! Nor can his favored soldiers! No one can protect You! Down with The Prince! If he goes, then i'll cease my awareness raising activities!
Irakura: Sparrow!! *to his people* Why are You just standing there? Morons. Get him already!
Sparrow: *slides down tower*
[Sparrow regroups with his gang, and, as they escape, he passes Canon who was attending, observing Irakura. They lock gazes for a moment, then Sparrow continues running, and notices many of his old cohorts with Canon, which leads him to a bittersweet laugh]
Sparrow: Your time will come as well, traitors. *evil grin*
Canon: *determined glare*
[Sparrow escapes, as The Prince's men chase him]
Atsura: Things are... different.
Canon: Mmhmm. This isn't going to be like anything We've been through before. This feels darker.
[Cut to a view of the harbor, with people freaking out, Irakura and Canon staring after Sparrow, and the sinking ship]

Volume 3 - Wrath

Wrath

Scene 1 [Irakura’s Throne-room]
Irakura: What?!
Noble of Deri: our mines in the jungle are gone, ruined. All because of Sparrow.
Irakura: *fuming* something has to be done about Sparrow, and the Ameyura, and their village of Moresuke.
Hebimaru: But my lord, did we not destroy Moresuke already?
Irakura: Yes, but they obviously have a new one, if they’re making such organized attacks already. Find their village! Then come back to me.

Scene 2 [Same]
[Enter Mercenary]
Irakura: What do you want, ugly?
Mercenary: I’ve found the new village of Moresuke.
Irakura: Truly?
Mercenary: I can give you the location.

Scene 3 [Moresuke]
Atsura: What are you saying?
Canon: What people have been saying all day… we’re locked in. The Prince has troops stationed all around our village, and they won’t let us go. They claim we’re under quarantine…
Atsura: Irakura is very angry…
Canon: We’ve gotta do something, or the village will die.

Scene 4 [The Barricade]
[The Ameyura, with Atsura and Canon, attack the guards. They overpower them, and flee before more guards arrive.]

Scene 5 [Throne-room]
Irakura: I’ve finally caught Sparrow. Very soon he’ll be mine…
Chief Soto: My lord. *bows* the capitol has recently been under attack.
Irakura: What?!
Soto: There seems to be a terrorist. He calls himself Sparrow.
Irakura: …!
Soto: He started small, but seems to be moving up.
Irakura: Put all priority into catching him.
Soto: It will be done. [Exit Soto]
Hebimaru: Shall we.. er… you, call off the blockade of Moresuke?
Irakura: Why would I? That village is a factory for rebels.
[Enter Guard]
Guard: Some men seek an audience with you.

Irakura: Very well. Send them in.
[Enter Atsura with Canon]
Irakura: You…!
Canon: As you can see, all of your enemies are here, in the capitol. We brought the whole of the Ameyura with us. So the only people trapped in your barricade are innocent civilians, who may be scarred by this experience, and become your enemies.
Irakura: I see.
[Exit Canon with Atsura]
Irakura: Hebimaru, call of the blockade. Even if he’s my enemy, he can still make good points.

Interim ~ Jungle War Arc

The Jungle War Arc will be over after the next post, "Wrath". The Jungle War Arc is sorta the debut of the new shortened chapters, and while not all of the new chapters are that length, many are. Honestly, it varies by chapter. Also, i temporarily dropped the whole "quote before each chapter thing" because i was trying to keep updating, and some chapters are difficult to find quotes for. I hope you've enjoyed the story this far!

Volume 3 - Confrontation

Confrontation

Scene 1 [The Meadow]
Atsura: You lied to me!
Sparrow: I’ll do what I must.
[Several people walk into the meadow. They look very haggard.]
Atsura: Who are you?
Person: A victim of that man…
Another person: He razed my village!
Young man: He killed my parents…!
Atsura: Sparrow, what have you done?
Sparrow: What has to be done!
[The Ameyura arrive.]
Canon: Sparrow, it’s all in the open now. We know what you’ve done, it’s over. I had a feeling…
Atsura: Are you innocent Sparrow?
Sparrow: I am innocent. But I did destroy those villages.
Atsura: You are no longer fit to lead the Ameyura.
Sparrow: You would take away my own group?! I created you!
Atsura: No! Sparrow created me! I don’t know what YOU are!
Sparrow: Very well. We will see who is the hero, in the end.
Atsura: How could you?!
Sparrow: It was easy!
Atsura: You’re betraying everything you stand for!
Sparrow: No! You’re finding out what I stand for now!
[Atsura attacks Sparrow, and they get into a fist fight. Others start fighting.]
Canon: Stop!! Look at yourselves!
Sparrow: You’ll see. You’ll all see. [Exit Sparrow w/his group.]

Scene 2 [Outside the Jungle]
Maru: Where are we going?
Sparrow: To the capitol. We’re going after Irakura.

Scene 3 [A Road]
Atsura: We’re going home.

Scene 4 [Deri]
Villager: We’ve lost everything.
Another guy: But we can rebuild.

Volume 3 - Decieved

Decieved

Scene 1 [All around the mine, which is a large mountain covered in foliage]
[At each entrance to the mine, some of Sparrow’s followers are stationed with Atsura’s troops.]
Atsura: The first part of our plan went well.
Sparrow: Of course. When a small force (1) attacked the mine’s barrier, all of the enemy forces moved to react to the threat (2). While they were distracted, we moved in unnoticed (3).
Canon: What now?
Sparrow: Now, things get interesting.
Atsura, now we’ll attack the mines, rushing any guards inside.
Sparrow: Yeah, no. Sorry. *lights a flare* I have my own plans.
[At each of the entraces, Sparrow’s follower’s shoot arrows with explosives at the mine entrances, collapsing them.]
Atsura: What’s this?! Sparrow! You lied!
Sparrow: Big shocker. Anyways, I’m leaving before they send more guards. [Exit Sparrow]
Atsura: Sparrow! [Exit Atsura]

Scene 2 [A Meadow]
Atsura: Sparrow!
Sparrow: *turns around* Oh, is it you Atsura?
Atsura: You lied to me.
Sparrow: Because I knew you were too frail for my plan. I will do what I must.

Volume 3 - Strike

Strike


Scene 1 [Outside the Complex]
[The Ameyura with Atsura sneak in when the miners leave.]
Sparrow: This won’t do. Yaba, give them away.
Yaba: Yeah, boss.
[Yaba leaves, and a moment later, sounds of fighting are heard.]
Sparrow: Loud-mouth Yaba sure can give away a location. Let’s move out!

Scene 2 [Within the Complex]
[Sparrow and his group are running through the complex, then they stop when they notice the miners’ blasting equipment.]
[Meanwhile, The Ameyura are battling the Prince’s soldiers. Then, the palace type place explodes. While everyone is shocked, the Ameyura escape.]

Scene 3 [Outside the Complex]
[Atsura and his group make it out, then spot Sparrow.]
Sparrow: Atsura, I have a proposition. Why don’t we work together to liberate the mines? For the villagers.
Atsura: Fine.
Canon: What are you thinking? He probably caused that explosion!
Atsura: We don’t have proof! Besides, why not work together, if we’re fighting for the same thing?

Volume 3 - Rift

Rift

Scene 1 [In The Jungle]
Sparrow: *points* Look! Another loyalist spy!
Canon: Sparrow, you’ve been hunting spies all day! And half the time, there’s nothing there.
Sparrow: Yeah, well, what about the other half?!
Atsura: The other half of the time, they’re innocent.
Sparrow: Are you doubting me?
Canon: Yes.
Atsura: Sparrow, you’ve been acting strange lately. Maybe it’s best if we split up. Me and Canon will check out the big mining camp that guy you interrogated earlier talked about, and you can chase heffalumps.
Sparrow: So be it. Maru!
[Sparrow leaves with Maru and his group of followers. Atsura and Canon go forward.]

Scene 2 [Outside a Large Complex]
Atsura: So this is the mining complex…
Canon: It looks heavily guarded. And we’re all tired. We should wait until morning, when the miners leave, to attack.
Atsura: Sounds good. Let’s make camp!

Scene 3
[Sparrow and his followers ravage the jungle, razing villages whenever they find them, killing man, woman and child. Eventually, they near the Mining Complex.]
Sparrow: So this is the brain of the mine… I think, that in order to end this, we’ll have to execute the leaders, and demolish the mine.
Maru: All in a day’s work.
Sparrow: We’ll use the heroes as bait.

Volume 3 - Massacre

Scene 1 [The Outskirts of the Deri Jungle]
Sparrow: All right gang, here we go. Into the rabbit hole…
[The Ameyura enter the jungle cautiously]

Scene 2 [In The Jungle]
[The group comes across a small force of soldiers, who are resting at the foot of a big tree.]
Sparrow: *sneaks towards them, and whispers* On my mark…
[The whole group sneaks towards them, as Sparrow counts (with his fingers) down from three to one. On one, they attack. They easily capture the soldiers.]
Sparrow: Those of you who denounce the Prince may live. Those who do not, shall die.
Canon: What?! We never talked about this!
Sparrow: Silence! I stand by my word.
Four of the eight soldiers: Sure, we denounce him!
Sparrow: They may leave.
[Those soldiers are set free, they quickly scurry off.]
The other four soldiers: We’ll never deny him.
Sparrow: Too bad for You. Maru?
Maru: Sure thing. *decapitates one of the soldiers*
Canon: *turns away in horror and disgust*
Atsura: Sparrow, this is-
Sparrow: Quiet, Atsura. Again, Maru.
Maru: *stabs another soldier*
Soldier: wait! I denounce him!
Sparrow: Nice try, trickster. I know you’re lying. Do him next Maru.
Maru: *lops off his arms then stabs him in the throat*
Atsura: Stop this madness!
Sparrow: Restrain him!
Canon: *rushes forward*
Sparrow: Stop them!
[In the scuffle, the last soldier gets away.]
Sparrow: Great, look what You did.
Canon: What were YOU doing?! That was insane!
Sparrow: I did what I had to.
Canon: …
Sparrow: If you continue, you’ll see how I treat mutineers.
Canon: *calms down*

Scene 3 [Somewhere Within The Jungle]
[The Ameyura are uneasy after the executions. They pass a village. Sparrow tells everyone to wait, and goes to talk to the people. On his return, he tells everyone that there’s nothing to fear, and they’ll be resting for the night. They make camp.]
Scene 4 [The Village They Passed]
[Sparrow is creeping towards the village with Maru, and several others.]
Maru: I thought they were no threat?
Sparrow: That was a lie. I had to tell the others that, so we could do this. They don’t have the will to do what has to be done, and they’re weak to the point where they may try to stop us. So, we’ll do it ourselves, in secret.
Others: We understand. And we obey.
[Sparrow and his gang massacre everyone in the village.]

Finale - Volume 2 - The Witch of Gyuna

Scene 1 [Irakura’s Throneroom]

Witch: I’ve done what you wanted.

Irakura: Very good. You may leave now, for what I hear is New (Neo) Moresuke.

Witch: Very well.

Scene 2 [Neo Moresuke]

Sparrow: Canon, You have to leave with me as soon as possible.

Canon & Imeda: What?

Canon: Do I have to?

Sparrow: Yes. You’re useless! You have no job, and you don’t go out on Ameyura missions.

Imeda: Hey!

Canon: He’s right… I’m sorry Imeda, but I have to go.

Imeda: No you don’t.

Canon: Yes… yes I really do. I’m sorry.

Scene 3 [Outside Neo Moresuke]

[Sparrow is in front of a large group of soldiers/Ameyura.]

Sparrow: Alright, let’s go!!

All: …

Atsura: Where are we going?

Sparrow: To the Deri Jungle. The Prince has been making big moves there, and we’re going to investigate.

All: Ohhhhhh

[Suddenly, several people shout and fall to the ground. Everyone turns around to see ghosts of people from the old Moresuke.]

Sparrow: What?

Canon: Ghosts?

Atsura: Attack!

[Weapons can’t harm the ghosts, despite the Ameyura’s best efforts.]

Sparrow: We have to find whoever’s doing this! Fan out! Search the area!

Scene 4 [Inside of Moresuke]

Sparrow: You!

Witch of Gyuna: Sparrow! I hear you’ve recently turned dark.

Sparrow: *draws sword* People keep saying that… and I don’t know why! *charges the Witch*

[The Witch uses magic to avoid Sparrow, then attacks him using the four elements, earth, fire, air, and water. Sparrow is hampered by this, but continues to drive forward, with an indomitable will. He eventually reaches the Witch, and slashes her.]

Witch: What- *gasps* this is… impossible… *falls to the ground, bleeding*

Canon: *rushes forward* we need to get her medical attention!

Sparrow: No! Leave her! She deserves to die. Canon, you can’t save everyone.

Canon: *leaves upset*

Sparrow: *steals the Witch’s amulet*

Scene 5 [Outside Moresuke]

Sparrow: Now, at last, we take flight.

An Idol?

Lately, ever since i found that quote from Gandhi, i've been looking stuff up about him. He really was an awesome guy, who a lot of people could stand to learn a good deal from. I particularly like his stance on standing up for what You believe in, and his belief in non-violence, regardless of the situation, or what causes. He was remarkably tolerant, which is sorely needed in this day and age. Gandhi was willing to see things from multiple perspectives, but he never compromised his own to anyone but himself. Gandhi was willing to accept change, and indeed, several of his theories changed over the years. It's no wonder he was awarded the title "Mahatma" or "Great Spirit". How ironic that one of his own people would end his life, a life that was dedicated to them. Gandhi himself admitted he was far from perfect, and he made mistakes like everyone else. His will however, was not average. He had incredible willpower, capable of sustaining him through weeks of fasting. Gandhi disilked the title of "Mahatma", because he had great humility, something else that is lacking in our world. All in all, Gandhi was an incredible person... certainly not the worst choice, if You were choosing someone to emulate.

Sparrow: *enters village*

Villager: Sparrow! You're back! We were wondering when you'd be getting back, being late and all.

Sparrow: Yes... I am back. Where's Imeda?

Scene 2 (Forest Near Moresuke)

Canon and Imeda: *walk along holding hands*

Sparrow: *enters scene* Canon, I need You to come with me! Right away!

Canon: *glances at Imeda, lets go of her hand* OK, im coming...

Scene 3 (Same, different location in forest)

Sparrow: *bound and gagged, struggling to untie himself*

Scene 4 (Shyaku's Old Shop)

Canon: *tied to chair, bound and gagged*

Fake Sparrow: (Standing in front of group of thugs) This is the one Shyaku said would do him in, he said this is the one who would overthrow the Prince if something didn't change.

Scene 5 (Imeda's Home, Night)

Imeda: Where is he...? He said he'd be back...

Scene 6 (Same, morning)

Imeda: *wakes up in same position, having waited all night for Canon* Something must be wrong, he wouldn't lie to me. *searches town for Canon, eventually stops outside of Shyaku's Shop* Hmm... someone replaced the window... and I don't think there were curtains before... something here smells fishy... *walks up to door*

Act 2, Scene 1 (Ameyura Meeting House)

Fake Sparrow: So yeah, I'm going to be investigating Shyaku's shop, and I don't want to be disturbed.

Others: Uh, ok...

Fake Sparrow: *leaves to shop*

Scene 2 (Shyaku's Old Shop)

Fake Sparrow: *sees Imeda outside of shop* Hey! What are you doing here? Didn't you hear, im investigating? ALONE.

Imeda: I can't find Canon, he must be around here somewhere!

F. Sparrow: Go look out in the forest, maybe he’s there. *pushes past Imeda* You need to leave now.

Imeda: Hey! You can't push me around!

F. Sparrow: If you know what's good for you, you'll leave. *enters*

Imeda: What is up with him! Agh! *follows him inside*

Scene 3 (Interior of Shop)

Imeda: Canon! *gasp*

F. Sparrow: I told you not to follow me! I don't want your blood on my hands as well! Gah! Tie her up!

Imeda: *is caught and tied up* Why are you doing this?! *starts to cry*

Canon: *despairing at seeing Imeda's tears, starts to cry himself*

F. Sparrow: I'm not Sparrow! My name is Suparo, I was Shyaku's partner, in show business. I was an actor, he was the magic man. What you see before you is all that is left of our troop. We came upon hard times, and when there was no other way out for us, Irakura approached us, offering a job. He wanted us to find Sparrow's protégé, and kill him, along with Sparrow himself. We arrived, and Shyaku decided to go in himself. He found Sparrow no problem, but we needed Sparrow's apprentice. At first, we thought the Gekkou boy was Sparrow's successor, the way he hung onto him, but then we saw you, and we knew it was you, Canon. I am very sorry. Shyaku told me about how strong the bonds of love between you two are.

Imeda: You killed Sparrow?

Suparo (F. Sparrow): No. Not yet. He's still in the midst of the forest. Alone. At night. With the wolves. The problem is, I can't directly injure people. It just isn't in me.

Imeda: Then why are you doing this, why didn't you just ignore the Prince's offer?!

Suparo: We lived in the capital, where I managed to see a few of Irakura's deeds. I believe in the Prince. So when he came to me with a job, I swore I wouldn't disappoint him.

Act 3, Scene 1 (Capital, Irakura on street)

Hebimaru: Your highness, are you certain you want to be walking the streets? I know that the capital is the safest place in the land, but after the terrorist attempt on your life...

Irakura: That failed miserably. Sparrow will be licking his wounds.

Hebimaru: Didn't the mind poison kill him?

Irakura: No. Some troops spotted him fleeing from Avalon... heaven knows how he got there. Leave me Hebimaru, I wish to be alone today.

Hebimaru: Very well, my lord. *leaves*

Citizen: You! *points at Prince*

Prince: It's true, I am the Prince. No autographs please.

Citizen: I hate you! You ruined my life!

Prince: I get that a lot. How exactly did I ruin YOUR life?

Citizen: You are building a new palace.
Prince: Yup. The old one sucked. The Ameyura terrorists broke into it for heaven's sake.

Citizen: You layed off most of the servants in the old palace.

Prince: Of course, it would be wasteful to have all of the servants while building a new palace. They will all be re-hired when the new palace is complete.

Citizen: I can't wait that long, my daughter can't! I've worked might and day to make enough money to feed us! Now you've fired me! This is your fault! *draws dagger* I have something to protect! And you're threatening it!

Irakura: Interesting. Did you know, we all have something to protect? For you, it's your daughter. For me, it's the entire nation. Can you comprehend how hard it is to try and protect everyone? I doubt it. You lost your job then went after me, when killing me can't even fix it. Pathetic. I struggle through impossible decisions every day! The strain of running a war is incredible! Not to mention the internal problems this country has! Just look at the nut-jobs in the streets, prancing around with their little daggers!

Citizen: *attacks Irakura*

Irakura: *sidesteps, disarms him, then twists his arm around and traps him* I have something to protect, and you're threatening it. *stabs him* I'll make sure your daughter is taken care of.

Scene 2 (Shyaku's Shop)

Imeda: Don't do this!
Suparo: Grunt, set the shop on fire.

*Grunt leaves*

Canon: *finally frees self of gag* Please, let her go! You can kill me, but don't kill her! Please, please, anything... *breaks down sobbing*

Suparo: *sheds a tear* I will wait here with you, and perish in the flames. I mustn't disappoint my Prince.

Canon: Please let her go, she's the thing I must protect...

Suparo: I have something to protect: The Prince. Without him, this whole country would sink into chaos. It's up to us, the people, to protect him!

Canon: We all have something to protect, but you shouldn't protect the Prince! He doesn't need your help! He doesn't want it!

Suparo: On the contrary! He adores his people, and is highly grateful to him! He had the whole court of nobles wear black when Sanyuta died. He loves every one of us, that's why the Ameyura are so effective, it breaks his heart to see his own people trying to kill him.

Imeda: So they are getting to him!

Canon: You-you-you're lying!

Suparo: Are you certain? Have you ever met the Prince? Or just heard of the horrific monster Sparrow describes?

Canon: I-he-but-then-agghh....

Imeda: Please, just let Canon go…

*Grunt shouts*: The place is burning good now!

Canon: Free her! Please!

Suparo: I can't stand this. *frees them* I'm going to disappear now. But remember, the Prince is more than Sparrow claims, while being less. You can't trust Sparrow. He killed Shyaku out of cold blood. *leaves*

Canon & Imedal *leave*

 Epilogue

Sparrow: *enters town*

Canon & Imeda: *distrustful glance*

Canon: You know, this is something to protect... *kisses Imeda*

Imeda: This, right here, IS what we protect.

Volume 2 - Love & War - Nightmare

Act 1, Scene 1 (Canon's Room)

Canon: *sleeps*

Scene 2 (Moresuke, The Next Morning)

Canon: Imeda?

Imeda: I made my choice. I'm sorry but...

Canon: *leaves, heartbroken*

Imeda: Wait!

Canon: *turns around, and is shot in chest by an arrow*

Imeda: !

Irakura himself leads troops into Moresuke, razing the village and slaughtering villagers.

Scene 3 (The Same)

Sparrow: Irakura! *attacks him*

Irakura: *slays Sparrow*

Canon: *bleeding*

Atsura: *takes Canon and Imeda away*

Imeda: What's going on?!

Atsura: I don't know!

Jyakuge: They've discovered Mount Ariat!

Atsura: How...?! Everything is crashing down.

Canon: *gasping* This is impossible.

Soldiers burst into the room, and Atsura and Jyakuge are killed as Gramps Sensei escapes with Canon and Imeda.

Scene 4 (The Same)

Imeda: Everyone's dying!

Gramps Sensei: Listen kids, you need to get out of here!

Imeda: But-

Sensei: You need to get out of here! And- *shot in back, keels over*

Imeda: This is terrible!

Canon: Urk... *stands up* Come on, let's go.

Scene 5 (The Same)

They struggle out of Moresuke, and are cornered on the pier, where there is a conveniently placed boat.

Canon and Imeda: *prepare to leave on boat*

Fleet of Ships: *appear out of nowhere, blocking off any path of escape*

Canon: You've gotta be kidding me!

Irakura and Soldiers: *march to pier*

Suddenly, dragons appear, and start destroying everything. A huge one grabs the Prince and Canon.

Imeda: Let him go!

Dragon: *drops Prince*

Imeda and Prince: *leave together*

Canon: No...! *struggles*

Dragon: *drops him too*

Canon floats in the water, watching the destruction around him. He slips into non-consciousness, and is borne away on the tide.

Act 2, Scene 1 (Shores of an Unknown Place)

Canon: *washes up on shore*

Tribal People: *poke him*

Canon: *wakes up, and is surprised by their appearance. They wear cloaks that don't have sleeves, and there are cuts all over their bodies*

Scene 2 (The Village of the People of the Unknown Place)

Canon: (continuing off-screen conversation) So why do you cut yourselves?

Chief: It's a form of self purification, that cleanses mind and body. Through pain, we grow as a people.

Our pain allows us to grow, to let go of regrets and old pains.

Canon: Let go of regrets and old pains...

Scene 3 (The Same, but Years Later)

Canon is just like the tribal people now. He eventually comes back to Moresuke. He gazes on the ruins, and moves on. Later, he assasinates Imeda and Irakura at a ball in the capital. As he is taken away to prison, his mind completely snaps and he starts laughing and raving like a lunatic...

There's revolts everywhere, everything is engulfed in chaos. There are monsters running rampant, and then Norea cracks in half and sinks into the sea, while fire rains from the sky, then everything freezes and shatters then turns to dust then there are screams echoing everywhere.

Scene 4 (Canon's Room)

Canon: *wakes up* *End of Dream Sequence*

Scene 5 (The Pier)

Imeda: Canon, I-
Canon: I have something to tell you. I don't think I'm ready yet. I had a dream last night. I'm not ready to marry you. I'm sorry.

Imeda: …

Canon: *leaves*

Imeda: *sigh* I was going to say yes... *takes ring off finger, and since then, has worn the ring as a necklace*

Volume 2 - Breakout Arc, Avalon Arc, and Shakespeare Arc

Volume 2 - Love & War is composed of the Breakout, Avalon, and Shakespeare Arcs. Currently, we are in the midst of the Shakespeare Arc, with a few more chapters to go. Breakout and Avalon were the big debut of a darker Sparrow, while Shakespeare introduced Canon, and brought his love, Imeda, to the forefront. I'm excited to begin the Third Volume, Fall From Grace. I hope You're all enjoying the story!
If the blog ever hits my next "milestone" for hits, i'll upload an extra post, and of course ill continue my sporadic posting, while continuing work on Volume 17, and putting the finishing touches on Volume 5.

Volume 2 - Love & War - Rage

Love and War – Rage

Act 1, Scene 1 (Moresuke Gates)

Canon and Imeda are walking about Moresuke, and while they're walking, a new visitor enters.

Canon: Hello...

Imeda: Hi! What's your name?

Visitor: Hello, my name is Shyaku. I am a reader of the future, and a worker of magics. My specialty is in predicting relationships though.

Imeda: How convenient!

Canon: Hm.

Shyaku (Visitor): You two wouldn't happen to be an item, would you?!

Imeda: Uh... *uncomfortable glance at Canon*

Canon: Of course.

Imeda: *smiles*

Shyaku: If you want, one of you could come by my shop sometime, and receive a prediction.

Canon: You have a shop? You just got here!

Shyaku: It's not actually mine yet, but I can tell it will be. *winks* If you'll excuse me, I must fetch the rest of my crew.

Imeda: There's more of you?!

Shyaku: But of course. *exits*

Scene 2 (Inner Moresuke, Next Day)

Imeda and Canon are walking about once again. They spot Shyaku's shop, with a sign promoting his fortune-telling.

Couple: *comes out happy*

Imeda: We should go in!

Girl: *comes out crying*

Canon: Um, I would prefer we didn't... How about we keep walking.

They continue walking, and Canon spots a girl with a flower, tearing off petals, reciting, “he loves me, he loves me not”.

Canon: What is that girl doing?

Imeda: *glances over* She's trying to find out if a boy likes her! So cute!

Canon: How does it work?

Imeda: She tears off petals, and for each one she says, “he loves me” or “he loves me not”. Which ever one she finishes off on is the truth!

Canon: That's weird...

Imeda: *tosses head back and laughs*

Canon: *sees a necklace which looks like it has a bone hanging from it* What's that?

Imeda: *caresses bone* It's a dragon bone.

Canon: ?

Imeda: They're magic, you know. Fortunetellers use them a lot, and some say that they can guide people through their lives.

Canon: Oh. Thats neat.

Imeda: *laughs again*

Scene 3 (Road)

Witch of Gyuna is traveling to Moresuke in a carriage.

Scene 4 (Moresuke, Same Day)

Imeda: *enters Shyaku's shop*

…

Imeda: *doesn't leave shop*

Act 2, Scene 1 (The Same)

Canon: *searches for Imeda* Odd... she must be out doing... whatever she does when we're not together... *enters Shyaku's shop*

Shyaku: I foresaw that you would come to me.

Canon: I'm sure you did. I'm just here because I don't have anything better to do-

Shyaku: And you're curious!

Canon: ...yeah. And I was wondering if you've seen Imeda recently.

Shyaku: Nope! And it's ok, I have something special for you- dragon bones.

Canon: …!

Shyaku: I will set a pile of dragon bones on fire. When they stop burning, you will be able to tell if she loves you or not.

Canon: How?

Shyaku: Have you ever torn petals off a flower?

Canon: No, but I think I understand.

Shyaku: Very well. *sets bones on fire*

Several bones shatter at once. It's a very intense experience, and the fire/smoke makes shapes like hearts, swords, hands, etc, etc. All very symbolic, and assumingly telling the future. They keep burning until there are two left.

Shyaku: She loves you-

Canon: -She loves me not. *very sad*

Shyaku: What a pity. You were a rather cute pair.

Canon: How can a pile of flaming bones decide my future?!

Shyaku: It's truth! Imeda received the same prophecy!

Canon: You said you haven't seen her! Where is she?!

Shyaku: …

Scene 2 (The Same, a few hours later)

Sparrow: *enters shop*

Shyaku is bloody and bruised. Canon is interrogating him, but to no avail. Shyaku is just laughing at him.

Sparrow: What's going on here?!

Shyaku: He's crazy!

Canon: He's working for the Prince! *angry, heavy breathing*

Sparrow: ?!

Canon: He's a famous playwright in the capital! He wrote the Tempest of Hamureta!

Sparrow: Really?

Shyaku: *nods*

Sparrow: Huh. Too bad you're a bad guy. Canon, Imeda's at the pier.

Shyaku: How did you know?!

Sparrow: Lucky guess... and you just told me. Hurry, Canon.

Scene 3 (The Pier)

“Goons”: *prepare to toss Imeda into the stormy (yes, it's storming now) sea*

Canon: *bursts into scene*

Fight ensues. Canon is overwhelmed for a bit, but remembers who he's fighting for, and overpowers the goons, and is relentless in applying a sound beating to them. As a matter of fact, he's going too far, and is about to kill the defenseless men, when he is stopped.

Imeda: Don't!

Canon: W-what? *heavy breathing*

Imeda: Stop hurting them!

Canon: They-you-I-

Imeda: Stop, just stop. If you kill them you're no better than them.

Canon: *calms down*

Imeda: I lied. You could never be like them, no matter what you did.

Canon: *half-smiles* Imeda, I had our fortune told...

Imeda: *gasp* So did I!

Canon: He said that you didn't love me...

Imeda: He said that to me... did he play the petal game?

Canon: Yeah...

Imeda: I know how to fix that. *takes off necklace* He loves me! *tosses out to ocean*

Canon: (at same time) She loves me... Imeda, *pulls out ring* will you marry me?

Imeda: *gasp* I-I-

Canon: You don't have to decide now, take some time and think about it. *leaves*

Epilogue (Shyaku's Shop)

Atsura: *enters shop*

Sparrow: *stands next to Shyaku's dead body*

Atsura: ?!

Sparrow: (regretfully(sounding)) I had to. He tried to escape, there was no other choice.

Atsura: I suppose you're right...

Volume 2 - Arrival - The Raiders

Arrival – The Raiders

Act 1, Scene 1 (Day of Arrival from sea)

The Ameyura and Moresuke are building a new village. Canon is visibly confused by the going ons, and he has to have explanations given to him several times. But he eventually gets it. They work hard, and thanks to the magic of time skipping, they soon have a skeleton village set up. They are building the village out of the ships they arrived in.

Scene 2 (The Same)

Raiders: *ride into the main path in the partially built village*

People: *gasp and scatter*

Scene 3 (Irakura's Palace)

Irakura: Where is the witch?

Attendant: We do not know, sire.

Irakura: Did I not ask you to bring her to me?

Attendant: Indeed.

Irakura: You've failed me...

Attendant: Please! Have mercy!

Irakura: Very well. Guards, escort him to Migyu's factory. I hear he's understaffed, and I wish for him to reach his production goals.

Attendant: *gasp*

Guards: *march him out*

Irakura: (addresses other attendants) I want the witch of Gyuna here, by sun-fall. Or... I may not be so merciful.

Attendants: *scatter* Yes, sire, it will be done!

Act 2, Scene 1 (Moresuke, The Next Day)

Canon, Atsura, and Imeda are hiding while the raiders do whatever they want. Vandalism, etc.

Canon: Why do we hide from these men?

Atsura: Because they outnumber us, and they're armed. We can't risk confrontation with them.

Canon: So we let them pillage?

Imeda: I grant you, it doesn't make much sense.

Atsura: What can I do?! Sparrow's taken most of the Ameyura for some mysterious mission, and I'm stuck here with a handful of troops.

Canon: We don't have to use the troops to fight if everyone fights. Then we'd outnumber the raiders!

Imeda: If we stand up to them, the others will rise with us!

Canon: We're stronger united!

Atsura: I guess that might work.

Imeda: You clumsy gorilla-man.

Scene 2 (The Same)

Raiders: *prepare to leave*

Canon, Imeda, and Atsura: *stand in way*

Raider Leader (R.L.): What do we have here?

Atsura: We're done lying down.

Canon: Leave now. Please.

Imeda: We don't like you!

R.L.: What a pity. Me and my boys don't plan on leaving for a while, now that things have gotten a bit more interesting.

Atsura: They might get too interesting if you don't leave.

R.L.: You're threatening me? *laughs* I don't know if you noticed, but your badly outnumbered here.

Atsura: You're outnumbered, I have the entire village with me!

R.L.: *looks around, smirks* I don't see anyone.

Atsura: When they see us fight, they'll back us up.

R.L.: But there won't be any fighting. *grabs Imeda*

Atsura: You jerk!

Canon: …!

R.L.: You two are gonna back down now, or else... *smiles*

Atsura: *grits teeth* Gr...

Canon: *punches R.L. in face*

R.L.: Whoa! *lets go of Imeda*

Imeda: *kicks him*

R.L.: G-get them! *gasping for breath*

For a moment, it looks like it's going to end ugly for the brave trio, until Gekkou runs up next to them. After Gekkou goes, Gramps Sensei walks up. Next is the blacksmith, then the shopkeeper, until everyone stands behind them.

Atsura: It's over. You've lost this place. Leave before you lose your life.

R.L.: It's not over! *glances around* Let's go! *Raiders leave* We'll be back!

Scene 3 (Irakura's Palace)

The throne room doors open, and a seemingly gorgeous woman walks in.

Irakura: Welcome, er...

Woman: My name is Anaguro.

Irakura: Welcome, Anaguro. I hope you've found your stay in the capital pleasing.

Anaguro (Woman): It sucked.

Irakura: I don't care. You're here for one purpose; to get rid of a pesky sparrow.

Anaguro: I know. And I can, if the price is right.

Irakura: *smiles* You'd be surprised at what I can offer you.

Volume 2 - Canon's Test

Canon's Test

Act 1, Scene 1

Resumed after Canon and Imeda. The fleet of ships are headed to the mainland, when they are attacked by pirates.

Pirates: Yar, yar, yo ho!

A battle commences. Surprisingly, no canons are fired. The pirates board the Ameyura's ships, and somehow capture everyone, but Canon.

Canon (to self): What do I do now? *spots conveniently placed row boat* I couldn't... or could I? *thinks over decision, Sparrow's eyes are superimposed in the background, watching him, for dramatic effect*

Scene 2

Canon: What can I do to rescue them? Weirdly, the pirate ships are just sitting there. Before anything else, I need to arm myself. *looks around, and arms self* Next, I guess I need to find out where everyone is. *slips onto a pirate ship, knocking out sentinel* That was easy... *goes belowdecks*

Scene 3

Canon goes down a hall, and turns, where a pirate sees him. The pirate runs towards him, but when he turns around the corner, he is gone.

Pirate: I need to stop with the rum... *mumbles, walks off*

Canon: *drops down from ceiling* Whoa, that was fun. *sneakily follows pirate*

Pirate: Hey, Bill! *passing another pirate in the hall*

Bill: Hey, fella!

Pirate: Bill never remembers my name...that's what you get for being the captain's scribe.

Canon: *flattens against wall when Bill passes, and is unseen* Captain's scribe... that sounds good.

Pirate: *walks into captain's room* Here, captain! Yo ho!

Pirate Captain from Gekkou's Adventure: Good boy, uh... partner!

Pirate: No one knows my name! Ug- *is knocked out by Canon*

Captain: You knocked out my scribe! What's his name!

Canon: You captured my friends!

Captain: All's fair in love and war. You've been in love, right?

Canon: *rushes at Captain*

Captain: Definitely! *parries* Was she on one of the ships?

Canon: *intensifies assault*

Captain: I see. Is she between five and six foot?

Canon: Do you ever stop talking? *thwacks Captain*

Captain: Ouch!

Act 2, Scene 1

A small duel ensues between Canon and Captain.

Canon: *points* Do you see that?! It's your father's ghost!

Captain: *looks* Pa?! I got your message! I really liked the part where you said-

Canon: *defeats Captain*

Captain: *gasps* You tricked me! You jerk!

Canon: You captured my friends!

Captain: Ah, ah, ah, that's not really why. It's because of your lady friend... *winks*

Canon: *slaps Captain* Seriously, you need to stop talking.

Captain: Am I upsetting you? So sorry! *laughs*

Canon: *rolls eyes, pours ink all over Captain's maps*

Captain: Hey! That was very juvenile!

Canon: You're the one making fun of me! I'm not talking to you! *turns away from Captain*

Captain: Me neither! *turns away from Canon*

Scene 2

Sparrow: *Walks into room* What's going on here?!

Canon and Captain: Sparrow! (to each other) You know Sparrow?! Of course! Stop copying me!

Sparrow: Wow, you two are really hitting it off.

Canon and Captain: We are not! Ah! *slaps each other*

Sparrow: Wow. Ouch. Hey! Let's calm down! *gets slapped by both of them* Hey! *slaps both of them*

Canon and Captain: Hey! *slaps him back*

All: *slap each other, yelling*

Pirate: *walks in* Oh. I see you're busy. *walks out*

Scene 3

Canon, Sparrow, and Captain are done hitting each other. They are all nursing wounds.

Canon: How did you get out, Sparrow? Did you free yourself?

Sparrow: I was never really imprisoned.

Captain: I could have caught you if I wanted...

Sparrow: Shut up. You owed me. Besides, I beat the crap out of you that one time.

Captain: *sob*

Canon: What...

Sparrow: Let me clarify. This whole little adventure today was a test.

Canon and Captain: What?

Captain: I thought you just wanted to hang out!

Canon: How did I do?

Sparrow: You were awful. Go home, I don't want you.

All: …

Captain: That was cold.

Canon: *stunned*

Sparrow: *laughs* Just kidding, just kidding! You should have seen your face!

Canon and Captain: -_- not funny.

Sparrow: *wiping away a tear from laughing so hard* Anyways. Yeah, you did ok. I guess you did alright.

Volume 2 - Canon and Imeda

Canon and Imeda

Act 1, Scene 1

Canon leads Imeda through the waterfall, into the cave. They head to the back, and find the Crystal Tree.

Canon: *glances at Imeda*

Imeda: *stares at tree* It's so pretty!

Canon: *stares at Imeda* Yeah... it's beautiful...

Imeda: *glances at Canon* Are you... staring at me?

Canon: *looks at his feet* Of course not! *slight blush*

Imeda: *slight blush* You really are pretty...

Canon: And you're... beautiful.

Imeda: Hug?

Canon: (confused) Hug?

Imeda: *hugs him* Hug!

Canon: I've never heard of that... :3

Imeda: *stares* I-

Mirada: *enter scene* Excuse me? Am I interrupting?

Canon and Imeda: No! *scoot away from each other* Of course not!

Mirada: I would like you to be at my home. Aru will lead you there. *Aru enters. Aru, Canon, and Imeda leave*

Mirada: Edu!

Edu: *appears*

Mirada: Well?

Edu: It is going very well, better than I dared hope. They are definitely in love.

Mirada: Very good! All we are waiting for now is Oma, and Jakirusa.

Scene 2

Scene changes to Oma and Jakirusa. They are outside Mirada's home.

Oma: Stay here. I will be back soon. *disappears*

Jakirusa: This is my chance... whatever they are planning for me isn't going to be good. I should find an ally-

Guruto: *enters scene* Aru?! Aru?! Curse you! I did my part?! Where are you?!

Jakirusa: I am Jakirusa, ruler- er, former ruler of Moresuke. Would you like to rule this island with me?

Guruto: Indeed?! I will aid you! There is a sorceress, who rules this island. She is a wicked master. But,  she is mortal! You could kill her with the sword you wear!

Jakirusa: Very good! When she appears, I will strike her down! *evil laugh*

Scene 3

Scene changes.

Oma: They plan to kill you when you enter.

Mirada: No issue. Are you and your sisters prepared?

Oma: Yes.

Mirada: Very well. Fetch Canon and Imeda. It's time to bring this to a close.

Act 2, Scene 1

Mirada, Canon, Imeda, Aru, Edu, and Oma enter scene with Jakirusa and Guruto. Jakirusa and Guruto attack Mirada, but she is protected by everyone else.

Mirada: Is this how I am rewarded, Guruto? I taught you how to speak, fed you, kept you, and now you try to kill me? Oma, take him away.

Guruto: I'm sorry!

Mirada: I forgive you. But if you cross me again, t will be the last time.

Guruto: Thank you, thank you!

Guruto leaves.

Mirada: And you... Jakirusa. You cheated me out of everything.

Jakirusa: Are you Mirada...?

Mirada: Yes I am. It is time that I teach Canon the story of how we came to arrive on this pleasant island.

Scene 2

Mirada: I was not a regular person. I was a noble woman. I hailed from Moresuke, and I was well loved there. I was virtually a monarch in that city. Canon, you were like a prince.

Then, my brother, Jakirusa betrayed me.

Canon and Imeda: BROTHER?!

Jakirusa: Mother always loved me more!

Mirada: He raised a following, bribed them, lied to them, and convinced them to run me out. I was exiled with you. After I was gone, he grabbed power and made false claims about me. I was hated, then forgotten. As were you, Canon. Jakirusa was not an inherently evil person.

Jakirusa: Gee, thanks.

Mirada: I'm certain he was a good ruler once I was gone. But I have never forgotten. Tell me, what brings you by these ways?

Jakirusa: The village is gone. I was involved with saving many people, the entire village! We are now headed from our temporary home to rebuild.

Mirada: I am saddened by these news. The Prince's evil grows, then?

Jakirusa: Yes. It's worse than ever.

Mirada: I was going to ask you to stay, Imeda. But I realize now that you belong home, and that it was a selfish request.

Canon: You're... You're going to seperate us?

Scene 3

Mirada: No. Canon, you are going with them, back to the mainland. You are old enough. You can help them. The Prince, Irakura, is an evil entity who must be stopped.

Canon: Very well, mother.

Jakirusa: Mirada, I am sorry. Please forgive me.

Mirada: I forgive you, granted you bring Canon with you and treat him well. He only knows what I have taught him about the outside world.

Imeda: I'll teach him... ;)

Scene 4

Canon, Imeda, and Jakirusa leave. Shift to beach, where they arrive.

Sparrow: Who is this?

Imeda: His name is Canon! He's coming with us, he's really nice!

Sparrow: Uh, ok.

The other ships arrive and they all leave.

Epilogue

Mirada: I had hoped that Canon would stay with me for the rest of my days. But that was selfish of me. When you told me that girl was on that ship, I knew they belonged together.

Edu: They compliment each other well.

Oma: Indeed.

Aru: So it was your intention from the start to bring them together?

Mirada: Yes. I wanted Canon to have love, and I sensed that the girl, Imeda, needed a little love in her life as well.

Aru: You could tell all of that?

Mirada: Yes. *smiles* I could also tell that Jakirusa had changed. I also sensed something about the apparent leader of that little band of rebels... something dangerous. Something dark. And it's growing, every moment.

Spirits: What?! You sent your son off with a bad guy?!

Mirada: He's not a bad guy. At least, not yet. He seems to be slipping into madness... if I can tell the future, then I know that he will be tested. Soon. They will all be tested before the end of the Prince. Some of them will fail, and others will soar.

Aru: Who-

Mirada: Alas, that I cannot tell. What more can we do, than hope?

Volume 2 - Tempest

Tempest

Act 1, Scene 1

Takes place after Breakout Arch. There is a terrible storm. Sparrow and the Ameyura are shown in ships, along with the Moresuke Villagers. Skip to morning. There are two ships wrecked on the shore of an island.

Sparrow: Did the others make it?

Atsura: I don't know...

Imeda: I see them in the distance!

Everyone looks, and sees the rest of the ships. They are damaged.

Sparrow: The ships looked pretty damaged. It may be a while before they're good enough to return, and get us.

Imeda: We should explore! Who knows what we could find here?! *runs off*

Sparrow: Imeda! Wait! *runs off*

Atsura: *looks at villagers* I guess we have to set up camp.

Scene 2

Shift to a part of the island.

Mysterious Woman: Canon!

Canon: *enter scene* Yes, Mirada?

Mirada (Mysterious Woman): Our visitors are here.

Canon: Already? Did you cause the storm last night?

Mirada: Of course not! It was, however, caused by the spirits I command.

Canon: Why?

Mirada: Because, there is a certain man on shore who wronged me many years ago... and the time for retribution has come. Aru, Edu, Oma! Canon, leave.

Canon leaves. Three spirits enter.

Aru: Aru, present!

Edu: Edu, present!

Oma: Oma, present!

Mirada: Oma, you will draw THAT man from his friends, and lead him to this place, but he must not arrive until night fall. Edu, you will lead Canon away until I call for you. Aru, you will bring Imeda here, but without Sparrow. You may need Guruto's aid.

Spirits: Yes, milady!

Scene 3

Scene change, to Sparrow and Imeda.

Sparrow: *huffing and puffing* Imeda, wait!

Imeda: Oh, sorry! *stops*

Sparrow: We, need, to, stay, together. *gasping for breath* Gosh, you run fast.

Imeda: This place is so beautiful...

Sparrow: Too bad we got lost in the tempest, this would be a nice place to visit on vacations.

Imeda: What about living here?

Sparrow: But how could we fight Irakura from here?

Imeda: You know... Irakura is not your entire life.

Sparrow: That's incorrect. My whole existence is to destroy the Prince.

Imeda: What about when you are finally victorious?

Sparrow: Then... I'll find a girl like Ekura, before she was a traitor, of course, and settle down, and live happily for the rest of my life.

Imeda: (secretly hurt when he says “a girl like Ekura”) Well... let's keep moving.

Sparrow: Hey what's that? *Aru laughs* Did you hear that?

Imeda: What are you talking about?

Sparrow: *Aru continues laughing* Someone's laughing. She sounds beautiful.

Imeda: Sounds beautiful? You are so shallow... I'll meet you back at shore... *leaves*

Sparrow: Imeda- *Aru's laughter drifts away* Wait! Where are you going? *chases sound*

Scene 4

Scene shifts to a deformed man.

Deformed Man: Curse Mirada! Curse her and Canon! I'd blast this island, my home, if only to destroy them!

Aru: *enters scene* Guruto.

Guruto (Deformed Man): Aru! I curse you as well! Servant of Mirada!

Aru: Would you spite the hand that taught you how to speak, the very hand that feeds you?

Guruto: I could get along well enough without her.

Aru: Nevertheless. You are her servant, and you must follow her orders.

Guruto: And if I don't want to?

Aru: Dog! *lightning crashes* Cur! *thunder booms* You blasted scourge! *landscape becomes hideous, cracks open in the ground and blast fire*

Guruto: *Very scared* Make it stop! Please, infernal witch!

Aru: Will you follow my orders, as Mirada's?!

Guruto: *trembling* Yes! Just make it stop!

Aru: Very well. *landscape becomes normal* You must... entertain... a guest for a little while.

Guruto: How?

Aru: Scare him back to his allies. Then escape him.

Guruto: It will be done... grudgingly.

Aru: What?! *landscape begins to morph*

Guruto: It will be done, quickly!

Aru: Very good.

Scene 5

Scene shifts to Edu.

Edu: Canon?

Canon: *enter scene* Yes? Edu?

Edu: Indeed. Your ears are well tuned.

Canon: Uh, thank you?

Edu: Come with me. There is something I wish to show you.

Canon: Very well.

Shift scene. Canon and Edu are at a waterfall.

Edu: Follow me Canon. *walks through waterfall*

Canon: There must be something back there... *follows*

Canon and Edu are in a cave behind the waterfall. The cave is filled with glowing crystals, of every color.

Canon: *gasp* It's beautiful...

Edu: *smiles*

Scene 6

Scene shifts to Oma. She is on the shore.

Oma: (hauntingly) Jakirusa...

Jakirusa: *looks up. Leaves crowd on beach* Who's there?

Oma: Jakirusa...

Jakirusa: Stop it!

Man on beach: (towards Jakirusa) Mayor?

Jakirusa: It's nothing! (whispers) Who's there? Stop it.

Oma: Jakirusa...

Jakirusa: Stop. Why are you doing this?!

Oma: *appears* Follow me and all will be revealed.

Jakirusa: *looks back*  Fine. But hurry.

Oma and Jakirusa leave.

Scene 7

Scene shifts to Aru, who is following Imeda.

Aru: *appears* Hello, maiden.

Imeda: *spins around* Who are you?! … what's your favorite color? Do you have any pets?

Aru: I am Aru, one of the lady Mirada's spirits. I was sent to bring you to Mirada. Sky blue, and no.

Imeda: Sure! She sounds nice!

Aru leads Imeda to Mirada.

Mirada: Good work, Aru! After tonight, you will be free, along with your sisters!

Imeda: Aru? You have sisters? Your a slave?!

Aru: I do have sisters, Edu and Oma. And we are not slaves, in the strict sense. We chose to serve lady Mirada after she freed us from our imprisonment within a crystal tree. Now, Mirada is freeing us for the rest of our lives.

Imeda: A crystal tree?! I want to draw one! Can I see it?

Mirada: Maybe later. But, first, there is someone I want you to meet. Edu!

Edu appears, with Canon in tow.

Canon: Mother? Wh- *sees Imeda* (stunned) Hello.

Imeda: Hi! Your pretty!

Canon: *blushes* Thank you. So are you.

Imeda: Aw, your so cute!

Canon: *intense blush*

Imeda: So, can I see the tree now?

Mirada: Canon, do you remember the cave Edu showed you?

Canon: Yes?

Mirada: Take Imeda there. The tree is in the very back, behind a hidden wall.

Canon: Yes mother. *blushing when Imeda is mentioned*

Imeda: Hey, come on, let's go! *drags Canon behind her*
