A place to explore my identity, and reflect on the past, present, and future. And because I love story telling, that love will shine through. You can read about my experience as a missionary at my sister blog, ElderLynn.Blogspot.com. I hope to hear back from all of you, and hope you'll enjoy what I've written!

Redeemability - Irakura
my thoughs on Irakura.... he could swing either way. He knows that he does 'bad things', he just believes they're necessary. In his words, "we all have things to protect." His "thing to protect" is Norea, and he's willing to do whatever it takes to protect it from what he percieves as threats. Irakura isn't a terribly mean jerkface, he just sees a lot of good actions as too weak, or not effective. He's a bit justified in his thinking, as the people of Norea as a whole have been growing darker and darker... but there have always been beacons of light for those people to flock to. Just look at Canon, or Atsura. If Irakura could be convinced that Norea is safe, and that her people are good, i believe he would abandon his crueler tactics.
