The Conditions of Canon's Birth! ~Mother and Father~
Jakirusa and Mirada lied about what happened to drive Mirada away from Moresuke...
Niro Seza was plotting to put his family at the top. He was an aide to the Noble who represented the region which Moresuke is a part of. Niro intended to show proof of festering rebellion by reading letters that he'd recieved from a spy. The lettters are signed by Moresuke residents, save a few names which are clearly aliases, such as the mysterious Salvo, who's name is at the top of each list. Niro intended to wait on his evidence until he had each name, but he can't figure out who Salvo, the supposed leader, is. Since he has made no progress on Salvo's identity, he intends to go ahead with what he does have.
Meanwhile, Mirada is at a funeral. She sees her brother, Jakirusa, and laments the passing of their parents. Jakirusa mentions their dissapointment in her because of her pregnancy and her failure to mention a father's name. It was quite scandelous, since she was unmarried. The whole town talks ill of her. Mirada only has a few months of her pregnancy left before she is due. Jakirusa says that he feels theres more to Mirada's situation then she lets on, and promises to help her with her child. Mirada brushes him off and tells him to be at that night's meeting.
Niro thinks about how during war, especially civil war, anythign remotely treasonous is harshly punished. He knows these letters will ruin lives, but it is necessary for his family's honor. Niro is secretely married to Mirada, but hasn't been able to reveal it because her family is much higher than his and it would be dishonorable to her and her family. After this however, he'll be able to reveal his marriage and be a true father to his child. His resolve strengthened, he puts the letters together in a bundle on his desk in the city hall. Niro's informer arrives and informs him there will be a meeting of the Moresuke rebels that night, with Salvo leading it. This is Niro's chance to discover who the mysterious Salvo is!
AN: No, not my birth. Canon, the protagonist.
