Saving Graces

i love the idea of a saving grace. Not as an excuse for making mistakes, but as a step stool to help You up the mountain of fixing that mistake! Ahaha. But seriously, it's an interesting concept. Despite whatever bad there is, there's still that one thing that invites doubt before You judge... that little thing that can help one make up for what they've done. But yeah. You probably get the point. This is just my little thought about that, the point of this post is to continue my ponderings about Irakura and Sanyuta's redeemability (is that spelled right? is that a word?? i think so...).

~Sanyuta~
i'm at that stage of consideration now. You know, about Sanyuta's backstory? Yeah, i'm at that point where i'm going to do it, it's just a matter of coming up with everything. Fitting in with my comprehensive timeline (which i'm still psyched about!) i'm seriously considering also doing a complete history of the Kachyu Clan, to tie in with Sanyuta's story. Anyways, back to the original thing here. Redemption.
Sanyuta is a good person. He is a moral person, he is kind. He likes little kids, thinks puppys are cute, and donates to charities. Really, Sanyuta is an exemplary person. He has a bit of a temper, but it's the kind that acts up when people he cares about are injured. i'd always intended to portray Sanyuta as a very honorable, good person. To me, i completely failed in that regard... that was supposed to be the conflict in the first chapter. Kinda a real drag, failing in Your first chapter. Anywho.
Sanyuta just needs to stop idolizing Irakura. After that, he'll be in a prime spot for being a good guy. If he's alive. The only issues are that... Sanyuta is Irakrua's number one fan. Destroying his loyalty is very difficult, harder than it is to earn it.
