Volume 4 - Dominos

Dominos

I call it like the domino theory of reality. If you can go one step at a time and it seems to make sense, you can then take your audience into an area that is relatively outlandish.

Ivan Reitman

Act 1, Scene 1, The Grand Plaza
Atsura (aside): Imeda, please…
Imeda: I won’t claim to be married to you. Never.
Atsura: I’ll be ruined! I don’t know how Irakura managed to maneuver things like this, but I know that if we aren’t “married”, I’m totally gone.
Imeda: I’d rather die than say I’m married to you!
Atsura: Please-!
Irakura (turns to Atsura): So? Are you two married?!
Imeda (stands up): No! We aren’t! I don’t even love this man. We used to be friends. But I’m not sure naymore. [Exit]
Atsura: Please! I had to have her help!
Irakura: Leave, deceiver. Just leave.

Scene 2, Kasupe’s Place
Canon: Eru can retract support and put it behind you. Same with Atsura, with whatever little support he has left…
Kasupe: Why?
Canon: Because, I can’t see any real evil in you. You’re our best choice. You’re our only chance for competing with Irakura in the vote.
Kaspe: …okay. I guess I’ll accept your aid, if it helps me become Prince. I’ll take whatever help I can get to achieve my goals!
Canon: We’ll work this out, together.
