Countdown Day 56: Knowest Thou The Condescension of God?

In 1 Nephi, an angel asks Nephi, "Knowest thou the condescension of God?" 

Nephi's response is simple but profound. He replies: "I know that he loveth his children; nevertheless, I do not know the meaning of all things." 

We may not understand exactly how the atonement works on a literal spiritual level. We may not comprehend all the nuances of God's nature. Sometimes, we may even be uncertain of ourselves... But there is one cornerstone we can rely on, that we should always remember: God loves his children. In a world of doubt and darkness, one bright truth will never change: God loves his children. This is constant and unconditional; it doesn't matter what you do or don't understand. It can be understood by small children and taught to the oldest person: God loves his children.
