We are all unique, and different. There's beauty in our variety... No single person comes up with all the good ideas. No one artist paints every masterpiece. If we stay true to ourselves we'll eventually find the thing that is unique to ourself -- our strength. The only way we can grow stronger is to accept ourselves.
If we want to use the atonement, we have to recognize our failings, and reach out to Christ so he can help us overcome them.
