A place to explore my identity, and reflect on the past, present, and future. And because I love story telling, that love will shine through. You can read about my experience as a missionary at my sister blog, ElderLynn.Blogspot.com. I hope to hear back from all of you, and hope you'll enjoy what I've written!
Why We're Here

Conference
Today, along with yesterday, was general conference. General conference is a... conference, held by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, semianually. The conference can be attended in person, by radio, or television, and even the internet. During the conference, there are five sessions, three on Saturday (with one exclusively for Preisthood) and two on Sunday. Each session lasts two hours, and there's always speakers and hymns, and the entire quoroum of the 12 Apostles speak across the two days, along with the First Presidency, who usually speak several times. Conference is always a fun time, with many families establishing conference day traditions (i'll write about a few of hours later or tomorrow) and conference being one of the few times during the year that we don't attend regular church meetings. Conference is also amazing in the fact that we hear from our living prophet, and other inspired speakers, who offer us insight and advice especially for the church in current times. Another six months!
