"A fanatic is someone who redoubles his efforts when he has forgotten his goal" ~Chuck Jones
This quote that i stumbled upon the other day is incredible, in it's description of Sparrow, and, arguably, others in my story. Sparrow is a fanatic. He keeps trying harder and harder, but he's lost sight of what his goal was: to save people from injustice. Over time, and with pain, he's focused his entire existence into one thing, and that is Irakura. He is a fanatic. All he wants is to overthrow Irakura and destroy him, while he has forgotten that his aim was originally to help people.
A place to explore my identity, and reflect on the past, present, and future. And because I love story telling, that love will shine through. You can read about my experience as a missionary at my sister blog, ElderLynn.Blogspot.com. I hope to hear back from all of you, and hope you'll enjoy what I've written!

6.5 Synopsis - "Graveyard"
Canon and his team travel to the old Moresuke, to dig through the remains of the village. As soon as they enter the burnt-out village, the group begins to hear sounds; echos from when there was life in the village. People who'd previously lived in Moresuke begin to see things, flashbacks, that are twisted and warped. Canon sees the foundation of the village, and it's history until it's destruction. Canon is getting on edge, and comes close to breaking down when skeletons come to life around the village and they're forced to fight them off. They find nothing helpful to their cause. Canon pulls it together during the battle.
6.4 Synopsis - "Scream"
"Canon travels through the wilderness to Avalon, a giant reminder of the Prince's power. He knows that Irakura and the Avalon Elders kept in touch, so he's hoping to find something incriminationg. While they travel throughout the wilderness, he starts to realize how truly harrowing Sparrow's journey was. When he reaches the edge of Avalon, he hears a distant scream, which gets louder and closer as he tries to draw nearer. The entire group is forced to head back as the sound becomes intolerable. They sent Tori in to search, who is strangely unaffected. He brings back a pouch of letters, and a description of the ruined paradise he saw."
6.3 Synopsis - "Haunted"
"Canon next travels to Kachigoru, to search through the citadel (which was preserved as a national monument/museum after the events of the Kachi Revolution) and the Prince's safehouse, which they discovered from papers Hebimaru left with Taebii, passed on to Kasupe, passed on to Atsura, to Canon and Sparrow's stories of that day. That night, when they explore the deserted museum, samurai armor and statues come to life and fight the Ameyura. The apparations seem to be targeting Canon. After forcing a samurai statue into committing seppuku, they "die". No new evidence is found, aside from an officail warrant to Sanyuta, making him basically a general. The Ameyura leave."
6.2 Synopsis - "Empty"
"Canon tells the Ameyura of his plan. He plans on finding documents written by Irakura, in old battlefields and bases. With hard evidence like this, they'll have irrevertible proof of his evil deeds. The first place he wants to visit is Deri. They find a few scraps of paper in an old administrative building that Canon will examine later, and, also, they find a young sketch artist named Tori in the midst of the ruined village. When the Ameyura ask where everyone else is (survivors from the Jungle War), Tori responds that they were eaten by the Night-Mares. When asked why he wasn't eaten, he says it's because he wouldn't fight back. Tori is a devout pacifist. The Ameyura decide to purge the forest of the Night-Mares, so they stay the night. When the Night-Mares appear, the men freak out and several are killed, before they discover their weakness -- fire. They get rid of the Night-Mares then leave. They later realize that the Mares would only haunt, and never fought unless they felt violent intentions."

Magics Arc Synopsis - 6.1 - Protest
Just so everybody here (possibly nobody) knows, i will be posting an actual written version of this Arc at some point. But for now, i will be posting the overviews that i'd originally written, when sketching out plots. Next Arc brings WAR!
6.1 Protest
This is the chapter that stuck me up. My original words for it were -
"Canon sets up a portest, to be supported by **in my plans for writing this, it was to be solely led by Kasupe** Kasupe, at a dock wehre the biggest warship ever (produced by Norea that is) the "Norean Fury", was to be launched. Irakura bans protestors (as part of his oppressive Prince gig) but when they show up anyways, he jails them. Many of the protestors cannot afford bail, while the ones who could afford it are generally the ones who'd make a scene (i.e., Canon and Kasupe) so they are left alone. (This is a POLITICAL move, designed to strike at Canon and his following. It's successful, as it causes Canon to feel guilt and doubt himself) He was disappointed to see Canon is their leader, as he hoped that he was finished with him after their confrontation that occured immediately after the Maru Arc. Canon realizes that for his protests to be more effective, he needs more people, not just the poor and oppressed. To recruit more people to his cause, they have to see Irakura for what he is, which will be difficult since he just saved everyone in the capitol. So to take down the Prince, Canon sets out to find hard evidence of Irakura's wrong-doings. To help, he assembles the Ameyura atop Mount Ariat. He begins telling them his plan to discredit the Prince...

Conference
Today, along with yesterday, was general conference. General conference is a... conference, held by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, semianually. The conference can be attended in person, by radio, or television, and even the internet. During the conference, there are five sessions, three on Saturday (with one exclusively for Preisthood) and two on Sunday. Each session lasts two hours, and there's always speakers and hymns, and the entire quoroum of the 12 Apostles speak across the two days, along with the First Presidency, who usually speak several times. Conference is always a fun time, with many families establishing conference day traditions (i'll write about a few of hours later or tomorrow) and conference being one of the few times during the year that we don't attend regular church meetings. Conference is also amazing in the fact that we hear from our living prophet, and other inspired speakers, who offer us insight and advice especially for the church in current times. Another six months!
